Is it possible to embed an externally hosted image?

Thought it would be neat to embed this continually updated image in the build post linked in my sig. When I use the image button in the text field, that just downloads and rehosts the image, thus making the data static.

Is it possible to have an externally hosted image displayed as an image in a post?

I suspect not as images have to be approved. External images would have to be static.

It could be interesting to have one's signature updated with temps and things with the two or three-digit ascii data updated every few secs.

Not possible with how XenForo Image proxy works.
Unless FrgMstr allows some domain to be excluded.
