Games that you have replayed the most

For me its Total War: Medieval 2. Its the one game I keep going back to time after time after time.
Ditto:
That's the game that has me building a dedicated machine.
For the time being, I'll try to get Medieval: Viking Invasion installed on this old AMD box.
Scratch...

Super Mario 3
Space Quest 3 (though I've played through the entire series several times)
Mass Effect 1-3
Monkey Island series

MOO
Age of Empires
Civilization
Diablo 1 & 2
Wing Commander Series
Freespace 2
Defense Grid
Half-Life 1 & 2

MP Games
Tribes
Tribes 2
Q2CTF
RtCW

Stellaris
Total War empire
Total war medival 2
total warhammer 1&2
Deep Rock Galactic
Payday 2
Mass effect 1&2 though 1 is dated enough now that I havent been back in a while.
Grim Dawn
Vermintide 2
Cities Skylines

Mass Effect Series, Metro Series and Tomb Raider Series in that order

This will be a fairly truncated list. Just some of the major standouts:

System Shock
System Shock 2
Quake III Arena
Doom 3
Chrono Trigger
Super Mario World
Super Mario 64
Ocarina of Time
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess
Borderlands
Borderlands 2
Diablo 2
Ultima VI through X
Turrican 2
Shadow of the Beast 2
Megaman
Megaman 3
Castlevania Series (all of them... love them all)
Dead Cells
Sundered

These are all games that I've sunk hundreds (or more) hours into at some point or other (or over the years). I'm sure there are tons more I could add that fit that, but these immediately spring to mind. Some (like System Shock) I play once every-other year or so.

All time, probably one of the Diablos, DOTA2 or league.
JRPG & Zelda are amazing but I seem to beat them and move on for some reason.
Never felt that pull to replay other than Chrono Trigger like above.
Nowadays, try and get through my 1 game a month if I am lucky.

Doom 1&2 - Countless replays, mods and map packs
Defense Grid - Best tower defense game there is IMO.
Crysis - only the first 2/3rds of the game over and over
Skyrim
Fallout 3
Dying Light
Deus Ex (original) - probably played it 8-10 times all the way through, but haven't been back to it in some time now.
Age of Empires 2
Warcraft 3

Single player that I've beat more than once? Witcher 3 and Halo are the only that I can think of.

Oblivion - At least 50 times
Half-Life 2 - Similar to oblivion
KOTOR 1 & 2 - Over 10 times if you combine both

Resident Evil 2 and Metal Gear Solid both on the PS1 - no exact clue but more than 10 times each.

HL2 would be next on the list. Maybe 5 or so times.

Had games I've wanted to replay since but never got around to them because of life and then something new comes out instead. Also I'd have to recognize replaying games has also gotten replaced with never ending online multiplayer games - like Counter-Strike (original or Source), Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 1, The Division or Rocket League - in my case. Those games ate up so much time that I'm sure I would have played other single player games over had I not played those.

Uh, does Rocket League count? XD
I have some 6000+ matches played in it.

Besides that, I played tons of Heroes of Might and Magic and Diablo.
When it comes to games with a world that doesn't change, Fallout 2.

I have a hard time sticking to just one game and repeating it. I hate doing that. Unless it's very different every time I play it. It applies to real life as well.

Well, if we are including online games and multiplayer, then I have played a flaming shit-ton of StarCraft series games, Command & Conquer (and Red Alert) series games, Demigod, and my MOBA of choice is Smite.

Hl2
Mafia
Halo 1
Super Mario world
Contra (nes)

Seems like I went in reverse chronological order unintentionally.

Probably Half Life and Left 4 Dead. Though I've only played from start to finish maybe 3 or 4 times, I always boot them up and mess around on my save games.

Mirror's Edge I've probably beat like 4 or 5 times.

F.E.A.R. series I've played a bunch too. Maybe 3 times.

Though typically I only play games once, but I've played a lot of different titles.

Hardcore mentions:
Unreal + original Unreal Tournament and 2004, Quake series, Dishonored series,
original Doom games plus various WAD packs - these never get old to me

Honorable mentions:
F.E.A.R series, Half-Life series, Serious Sam series, Max Payne series,
Blood/Shadow Warrior/Duke Nukem 3D, Far Cry series (in particular New Dawn),
Metro series (in particular Metro Exodus which I'm working through a third time currently)

Yeah I like FPS games. Currently playing through original Half-Life on my retro system, and am finding it a challenge.

70 Polara Have you played Black Mesa? It's a really good overhaul of the graphics (and some of the gameplay).

Yes though I haven't played it since they completed the Zen levels. In fact one of the reasons why I'm replaying the original Half-Life and
dealing with the fairly crappy Zen part, is to see how much of improvement the Black Mesa Zen levels are. :cautious:

I just started Zen in the original and I'm glad quick-save/load work as I have fallen to my death many times already from the long-jumping
that doesn't work too well.

Super Mario Brothers 2/3/world
L4D2
Borderlands 2/pre-sequel
Slay the Spire (Working towards ascenion level 20...at 5/4/4/4 on my characters now

HL series
STALKER series Call of Pripyat is still my all time favorite.
Getting jumped by a chimera the first time at 2:00am after hours of consecutive playtime I think I shit myself a little.

I have over 1000 hours in every Dark Souls game on PC...actually I only have 748 hours in Dark Souls 3 but I'll get to 1000 soon enough

If I post all the games that I have replayed over the decades... OMG...the list will take far too much time to even enumerate them.
RTS... RPG... FPS of every flavor.. platformers.... simulators for cars and aircraft of all flavors/types...side scrollers.. shooters... bullet hell games...
Systems: Starting with the old Pong sets sold at Sears etc.. Apple II, TI 99/4A, Commodore VIC20/64/128 Amigas of diff gens, Atari 2600/5200, Odyssey 2, Intellivision, Colecovision, NES, Sega Master Sys, Genesis, SNES, Saturn, N64, PC going back to 1984 to current...Macs (lot of Bungie Marathon games!), PS One... II etc... Xbox to current gen...
I have been playing games since Pong in the 70s... so yeah... a movie like Ready Player One has a ton of nostalgia wrapped up in it for me.

FFVII has probably the most hours of any game. I play through it once a year/every other year.

Game with most hours ever? Diablo 2.

Tomb Raider '96, Doom I/II, Path of Exile (burned out with this one now, but it has the most hours).

Just played Mirror's Edge again from start to finish on my new LG ultrawide.

Always nice to get new hardware and then experience old games in new light.
