Fix Bluetooth having a 1/2 second delay when watching movies on Amazon Prime ?

I just bought this speaker, so I could watch movies.

What can I do to fix this 1/2 second delay ?

How do I change the codec that is used ?
Are there drivers for the speaker ? (I have not been able to find any)

Download the movie and play with something you can adjust latency? I don't think there are settings in the Amazon Prime that allows this. some version of AptX (haven't kept up with BT lately) is a feature that might help with latency but doesn't look like either of your devices have it.

I've not used a USB adapter nor have I used a BT speaker in realtime. If I had to guess, I'd say the delay is in the decoding/processing of the audio for transmission.

The "codec", assuming you are referring to audio, is part of the stream and you have no control over it.

No. Any drivers would be for the adapter.

Known issue with bluetooth and from what I remember, Windows doesn't support the lower latency codec's by default. So you may be kinda stuck.

You need a transmitter and receiver that support Bluetooth aptx LL (low latency) or you end up where you are now.

That's one - most of the receivers will be earbuds/headsets so you will have to look if you want something else.

Just search "aptx LL" on Amazon...
