I'm looking for someone who is hosting their OWN vpn at their home to exchange credentials with. I'm thinking about setting up a specific OpenVPN to give someone access to my US IP address in return for access to their European, or UK IP address as well. I don't want your Nord account etc. I want access to a residential IP address and you will get the same in return. This will be for streaming soley.

It's "Networking & Security"
Me: No officers I don't know anything about 300GB of of child porn that was uploaded from my IP address. Oh wait, I did give this guy access to my IP with a VPN tunnel so he could pirate movies maybe he did it. Who is he? FIIK just some stranger on a forum I frequent.

Feds:Tell it to the judge sir.

This isn't dangerous at all if done properly. But I'd use an ipsec vpn tunnel and some static routes/vlans to remove any local access. Ideally, you need relatives in the EU. :)

While I will agree it is easy enough to protect your internal network from the external guest. The problem lies in what the guest uploads to public sites when they are hair pinning on your public IP. As you say this needs to be someone you know and more to point trust. I have a similar arrangement with my in-laws so when I am visiting them in eastern Europe I can tunnel my traffic through my home and work remotely without causing issues. A side bonus is my SIL can do something similar to what the OP wants to do.
