melted down an 8 pin modular EPS connector, wondering what my options are

Sorry I saw this post late. Can you please send a PM to me with details of the issue. Is it only the connector that is damaged or also the connectors on the PSU? Can you please also let me know the serial number & model number. Thanks.

Seasonic Rep has hooked me up with the appropriate CS staff and they say my cable has shipped.

Very pleased with the attitude and responsiveness of everyone I have dealt with.
 
I have FedEx tracking on my cable, should be back up and running next week.

Two thumbs up on Seasonic customer service!!
