Does anyone know if I can use liquid metal on this model?

I just ordered it, but I am unsure if this heatsink is copper or just copper-coated , if it has nickel, or simply aluminum?

Thank you folks

this is the new xps 17 9700 right? i cant find anything about the heat sink. it should be all copper but the service manual shows that the top is coated black, not sure about the underside but the die contact area should be bare copper. they have been when i ran into the black paint before.

Thank you for your response. I read the previous gen was just copper coated aluminum, so I was afraid it could not be fully copper for liquid metal purposes

I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I read reports from people saying it was a bad idea for a mobile device. If there are people here who are doing it successfully though without the liquid running and causing issues, I might consider it.
