Crucial 4TB p3 NVME $250 at Amazon ($210 at Adorama!)

Almost don't need hard drives anymore... I wouldn't invest in Seagate right now.

I recently got a Crucial p3+ and it was gen 4 - very fast - i didn't spend the same as the 4tb WD 850X, so I have it used as a cloud drive (not a lot of writing, just as redundancy)

Those folks who "got in" on the "deal" will get an email on Monday morning saying that their order was cancelled due to a pricing error.:(
I knew it was too good to be true. That was 2024 pricing, lol.

Just to respond, I had a 2tb version of this and it was crap. It was as slow as a hard drive after a certain amount of data was written to it. I'd never recommend one of the crucial externals.
They did update it, so it performs better.
Here is a recent review and it performs alright. It has 1TB cache so that is 1,300 seconds at 800 MBps. Not bad.
However I have a feeling it will be a turtle when the drive near capacity.
The review is a bit harsh for what it is imho.
