Could my modem or router be failing?

Using an Arris CM820A DOCSIS 3.0 modem.

Router is a R3700v3.

I'm finding I keep having to unplug the modem and reset it. SpeedTest shows <10mbps. That should be closer to 90.

Just curious if perhaps the modem is on its way out. Is that model an antique by any means?
 
Yea, this has been sorted it seems. I called and its an issue with the lines leading to the house. Probably hsould have deleted this thread. oops
 
Good to hear it was simple and nothing you had to do. (y) I regularly use packetlosstest.com on the 1080p setting to flush out any Internet issues.
 
I was gonna ask you to dig into modem settings and look at the power DBmV, corrected and uncorrectables, ask about moca filters, etc. I had to go through all of this recently.

But it seems that you're getting it sorted, so, hope it works out well for ya!
