OK the specs to my pc are as follows
Corsair 800D windowed case
Msi X79-GD45 plus motherboard
Intel 6 core I7 4930k @ 4ghz
24gb gskill rip jawz ddr3
3x msi 4gb gtx 970 on order
3x full coverage blocks from Ek on order
1050 watt corsair Psu
3x120mm radiator on top
1x140mm radiator on rear
Various hdds and led lighting.

My question is will the 3x120mm rad and the additional 140mm rad be enough to keep my temps within 15 degrees ambient idle and 25-30 degrees while gaming. The room the tower is located in is an average of 60-68 degrees. As of right now its just the cpu running on the W/C loop I am wanting to add in the 3 new video cards and figured throwing in an extra 140mm rad couldnt hurt but not sure if it will be enough. Any insight will be greatly apreciated

what is your cpu's idle temp? a 140 rad is good for 200-300 watts of cooling so in total i think you'll be good. i'm having trouble understanding what temps you're wanting to keep within 15' of idle. cpu, gpu, gpu vreg, gpu ram, water,...what?

ok soirry my cpu idle tuns mid 30s id like to keep it at 100% load at max the mid 60's as far as video cards as long as there 10-20 under that max temp they can handle i will be happy

Are you talking Fahrenheit or Celsius? Since you're talking about your room being ambient of 60-68, I'm going to assume Fahrenheit.

On the latest R9 290X waterblock roundup (couldn't find one yet for GM204), the smallest delta C between core and coolant was just under 18, or 32.4 C. This is an overclocked 290X though, so a stock GM204 will likely put out much less heat. However, given the small die size, the core to coolant delta C are probably very similar, as a smaller die has a smaller amount of area for heat transfer. So if you're looking for a 30 F delta while gaming, I'll tell you right off the bat that you will need a dedicated 480mm radiator for each component just to achieve that. Or run 4500+ RPM fans.

The smallest delta C for CPU blocks with a 4200 Mhz 4930k is 35 C, core to coolant. You are not going to achieve 30 C core to air for a 4000 Mhz 4930k except in the best of circumstances (very high flow rate, enough cooling to keep coolant at ambient, very best thermal paste).

Regarding your latest post... all of your components are perfectly capable of handling up to 100 C. With 3 stock 970s and a 4.0 ghz 4930k, you're looking at a heat dump in a worse case scenario (cores and GPUs fully loaded) of about 650 watts. Depending on the radiator model and fan setup, you're looking at a coolant to air delta of 15 to 45 C with a 3x120 and 1x140. So you will be looking at 50 C to 80 C above ambient for your CPU, and 30 C to 60 C above ambient for your GPUs. At 68 F, your room is at 20 C.

Of course, that is a worse case scenario. Gaming heat output is likely much lower, as most games do not fully stress the CPU, and due to SLI scaling, the GPUs are not fully stressed out either. Overclocking the 970s, however, will bring the gaming heat output higher.
