I have the BlasterX G5

beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm

https://www.amazon.com/beyerdynamic...70&qid=1647445875&sprefix=dt770,aps,66&sr=8-1

What settings will give me the best quality / positing for FPS games (Hunt Showdown)
Should I set "Default Format" to---
"2 channel, 24 bit, 192000 Hz" ?
or
"2 channel, 24 bit, 44100 Hz" ?
Will the higher Hz actually give me better / fuller sound ?

Should I disable "Exclusive Mode" ?

Should I disable "Enable Audio Enhancements" ?

What I benefit in getting an AMP to use with my BlasterX G5 ?

use default, should be fine.
it can but you might not notice.
exclusive mean only one thing can use the card at a time, like the old days. your call.
probably, unless you want to try atmos for headphones, which might help with what you want.
that is an "amp".

Pendragon already kinda nailed it, but I'll give my two cents as well.

- Default format. Unless you listening to music of a particularly high-quality music just leave it @ 44.1hz. It won't lead to fuller sound and most game audio is sampled @ 44.1Hz and played back at the same. So your not missing anything.
- Exclusive mode. User preference. It prevents other apps from being able to use the sound card if it's in use. So this might prevent you from hearing notifications if it's on etc.
- Enable Audio Enhancements. No, leave it on unless it's causing issues.
- AMP. You don't "need" an AMP as the G5 has pretty decent one built in. If you got one, it could change how the things sound. But it's a kind of a subjective thing on if it would be "better". At least in this case, as the G5 should be able to power your DT 770 Pro's just fine.

Cool. THX.
I know the G5 has a built in amp, but I was not sure if it was good enough for my DT 770.
I had to set the G5 for the highest OHM setting, because it was not pushing my DT even close to enough.
