***3080ti OC Best buy $740***

Crazy that it's cheaper than almost all of the 3080 (non Ti) cards they have. I wonder if there's something troublesome with that specific model.

I have a 3060 ti ventus. Hot spots suck during extendedwarzone sessions at 1440p.

I feel like this is Best Buy (or MSI?) testing the waters to get ready to dump old stock as they're probably producing (or getting production read) for the 40 series.

Personally, I am expecting the Founders 4070 to drop in February/March for $650 to $700 and roughly equal 3080ti/3090 performance. Other brands would be a bit higher

My goal is to snag a 3090 ti for $550.

Bought. Yup, on day 20 for my 3080 from BH photo and paid $729. Easily returning.

Have a $10 BB coupon too. $729. Not bad at all.

Not sure if anyone saw this - but BB had a 3090 for $840 over the weekend as well.

Out of stock for sure - but wow! BB won Labor Day weekend for the GPU Price Wars.
I'm sure there's a fantastic lesson here to be sure for AIB partners, put more effort time into the lower end stuff that is more sought after regardless of the "shortages" that exist out there because there obviously is a massive stockpile of 3090+ cards (possibly 3080ti+) if they're dropping prices this low, and it not solely because the 40 series coming out "soon"

These prices are going all Tom Petty...

Now I'm free
I'm free fallin'
Yeah, I'm free

Nice!

Will refrain from any more balls comments. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Lol

I hope that 3090 price above becomes a norm. I ended up backing out of the 3080TI

Back to my 2070 super for the time being. Let's see what September prices and 4xxx info bring us to make a final decision.
