15" all-purpose laptop with optical drive & gigabit (UK)

Recommendations please for a machine which hits all the following points:

- A reasonable CPU (upper-mid HQ)
- 8Gb RAM, upgradable to 16 at least
- NVMe PCIe upgradable - whatever it ships with
- DVD+-RW drive, Blu-ray not important
- Gigabit Ethernet
- AC wireless
- 5.5lbs/2.5kgs or lighter - definitely no heavier
- Good touchpad and keyboard
- A good 15" (not 14") FHD display - good enough for light Lightrooming. Higher res if quality is also good. Touchscreen a plus but not required.
- 1050 - I think anything else (including Ti) will impact runtime too much(...?), switchable graphics a plus but with the 1050 as a general yardstick for power wanted
- Quiet in idle
- Reasonable build quality, i.e. not e.g. Gigabyte P-level
- Largest possible battery within the above constraints
