You think you could help a brotha out? your scores are just under my scores, except I'm running 5.4 P-core and 4.4 e-core... and your voltages are way lower then mine but I feel tarded because no matter what setting I pick, it doesn't take it for voltage.
I'm on a Maximus Hero. Would really appreciate any input!

R20 5.4 4.4.png

It's weird in the past on Cine R20, rerunning it would fluxuate in score a little bit. On the settings I have right now, 11163 is the score no matter what. Open Hwinfo: 11163, rerun, same score. Open Intel Extreme Tuning: 11163.

Is that not odd?

Turn it off and on again. Resetting Cine changed the score... It seems like the score should be higher than this for 5.4P 4.3E

I would not be concerned about Cinebench scores but that is all fine. IT is weird if you always had the same score in Cinebench.
If you look at post #25 all my BIOS settings are there.

I use adaptive voltage + offset voltage with AC load line 25,DC load line 100 on MSI board Asus would be 0.025/0.1. + I also use AVX offset ,when the temperature hits lets say 75°C I have the CPU downclock to default settings.

SO can you be more clear on what you want to do,you can not run 5400Mhz all core without water cooling loop. I suggest you use

Turbo ratio 55,55,55,54,54,53,52,52- try any combo you want
AC load 0.025
DC Load 0.1
Set VF 6 offset point -0.025
Set VF 11 offset Point 0.075
use adaptive voltage
Intel C-state to enabled

It is water cooled and on a chiller. Is the +offset adding voltage or removing? I was using the intel tune utility because to go back to bios was taking so long.
I can take a screenshot of those settings if it helps

I wonder if my ram is holding me back also. I made the jump to DDR5, hoping at some time I could get nicer DDR5. I run 5200 CL32.
I just wanted to have fun tweaking it as a goal.

Well your all set with chiller and should be able to run whatever your CPU can handle.Your Ram is not holding you back.

I can give you settings all day long. I suggest you go over to this thread and read fort the ASUS motherboard,I gave you all the settings you need for very high overclocks for benchmarking to PC gaming to editing all day long,I really can not test for you.

Your welcome,it does seem like he has some good points but also take it with a grain of salt.I do not think he is a ASUS engineer or anything. Good luck dude

Hi Gerard, I am interested in that chip, I texted you on ocn forums after you replied to my question about a good chip. Let me know.

That tripped me out because my real name is Gerard, I was like what is the OCN network? Took me a second...

Hi Gerard, I am interested in that chip, I texted you on ocn forums after you replied to my question about a good chip. Let me know.
Man I am sorry,I feel like a douchbag. I did not see your message on OCN,just thought you were not interested.Anyway like I said I am not attached to the CPU.I found your message on OCN and this was the result below.Switched to 360 AIO

As per request Cinebench20 run two runs with reset in between so you can see the numbers. I did not try to find the lowest voltage ,I just ran these settings a week ago and it worked.Would not be prime95 stable but have not tested prime95
Adaptive voltage + offset at -165
LLC mode 2
AC load 25
DC load 100
51 P-core
40 E-core

That tripped me out because my real name is Gerard, I was like what is the OCN network? Took me a second...

LOL that is weird

No worries man, thank you for getting back to me and putting in the effort for me! I'm convinced. I texted you over on OCN in the direct messages if you don't mind for next steps. Here I didn't figure out how to DM... maybe I don't have enough posts (just signed up for this)

Sent you all the information over OCN and my email and phone number. We can talk over there no problem

Intel C-state to enabled

Cstate make my OC unstable and don't understood why.
https://hardforum.com/threads/my-12900k-overclocks-well-if-cstates-are-disabled-why.2016122/

Anything is possible.I have had C-states enabled on two 12900K without problems for a month because I was using adaptive voltage. Good thing C-states do not have to be on,I would do whatever works for you.Good you also figured out you instability

ctstate makes my OC unstable when I switch from idle to AVX256 full load like Prime95.

Those are all my settings.

Basically the voltages that worry me are

CPU Core/Cache Voltage [Adaptive Mode] - > Additional Turbo Mode CPU Core Voltage [1.36000]
Memory Controller Voltage [1.25000]
DRAM VDDQ Voltage [1.35000]
DRAM VDD Voltage [1.35000]
DRAM VDDQ Voltage [1.35000]
DRAM VDDQ TX Voltage [1.35000]

Using 4x16GB Corsair Dominator 5600MHz C36 tested at 1.25V.

Do you see something that can damage my CPU/RAM in the long term?

Those are all my settings.

It is a CPU that will last for 10 years maxed out.Your worried about nothing. You have a warranty, your good.

maxed out for sure, but at what voltages? :D
Well you want a number 1.45 manual CPU voltage and after 3year-4years you may need 1.47v for same clocks.12th gen Intel would be real toasty at 1.45 manual voltage but if you have cooling so what.I have Intel computer 3770K overclock for 10+years with high manual voltage and it is still fine and works great.Plus I know you must have a warranty that is good for three years.

Also it is only a CPU piece of metal and I am not sure what you would be missing if you had to run high voltage over lower voltage for a couple years, maybe 100Mhz if it degraded.Nothing to worry about,if you or anyone is worried about CPU voltage .Lower CPU Clocks to 4000Mhz with under 1.0v,problem solved and no worries.

All I can say my 12900K will be running 5400Mhz until new AMD Ryzen is released and then I will be yeeting the CPU/Motherboard.

Have you watched this video yet on CPU voltage over a long period of time ,where the voltage was said by just about every nut out there that the AMD CPU would die.

Why sell a 12900K for a Ryzen now?
Even Zen4 would not be a big upgrade imho.

Well it is a CPU and means nothing to me as a hobby. I change gear every few months from SSD to CPU to GPU ETC and buy multiples of each one.
EG: Some CPU's I owned in the last couple years and I may have missed some AMD/Intel CPU's below,so bring on the next best.AMD I am looking at you. Also to be clear not one of the CPU's gave me a better PC gaming experience from AMD 2600X to Intel 12900K @ 5600Mhz all core. They all gave around same FPS for my PC Gaming.
