Hello all!
I have eight $50 Delta Airlines virtual gift cards for sale. Pretty much been accumulating them from CC rewards and that, and planned to use them for a trip, but found out while calling I cannot combine Miles and GCs (as cash), so figure I will just try and clear them out.
Some...
Hi all,
I am looking for a good Z270 Motherboard to replace the MSI I currently use that has been nothing but trouble. While we are on the subject of that motherboard, I am open to just about anything that isn't MSI. The whole experience including with their support just has me sour to them...
I spent $8 there on 8/30 for a cable that one of their 3rd party sellers was selling for WAY less than anyone else. This is my reward for being frugal I guess...
Since he admitted that drivers will mature, which takes time, why not just wait and get it at a likely price drop? I get looking for excuses to explain a crazy expense, but if your excuse involves future benefits on a resource that doesn't have a limited production run and historically has had...
I don't get why people keep comparing different games with the only metric being 4k @ 60FPS or whatever. You can run Pacman at 4K/60FPS on a 960 GTX. 4K/60FPS/Ray Tracing means NOTHING in a vacuum. Maybe they hit 4K/50FPS with ray tracing in Tomb Raider, and maybe completely different games...
Yep, even if the 20xx series are hugely powerful, I hope they don't see the sales numbers they want. I am fine with a company making a profit, but there's nothing about these prices that make sense.
On NVidia's store you can still pre-order the 2080 and it still has a September ship date...
Not only this, but Apple Stores and their extensive phone and online support systems aren't free. Apple Stores are often found in upper scale malls as well, which means they are paying a premium in rent, plus staffing, etc.
Apple and Samsung are making a ton of money, but it's hilarious logic...
Yep, I half-enjoyed 4, didn't buy BF1, and don't see getting 5. The days of enormous maps and fantastic gameplay from that series seems to be over. I will miss it, but at least I got to enjoy it in its prime.
Yeah, the RTX value proposition makes no sense. You can get a couple used 1080TIs and still have a few hundred left over to just throw out your window, and a 1080 or TI are going to play most anything available for the next couple years. I am sure the RTX lines will offer some advantages in...
Couldn't agree more. I just broke down and went with a used 1080TI because the price was super good and as much as I hate Nvidias business practices lately, I can't wait for AMD to figure out if they are going to get serious about competing in this area again.
Good luck! I know a lot of legit Amazon sellers get burned by A to Z when less honest buyers lie, but for cases like this A to Z is a lifesaver. Hope you are pleasantly surprised and get the card!
CounterStrike/StarCraft are pretty steady for us. With the right group of friends, have had fun playing WoW before. Yeah it's an MMO and the idea of LAN play rarely makes a lot of sense, but if you get a group of local friends that already play together, the banter/joint questing just feels...
The building I work at is two levels but a very large 'L', people constantly walking the halls getting around or just walking to exercise. It's crazy how many walk staring down at their phones. I've gotten to where I feel like playing chicken with them to see if they are really just going to...
The only thing I can think is they want a soft launch of RT so that game devs put effort into including the tech in future games. So they crammed it in the 13nm gen, knowing full well that there will be a small army (some shown here) that will not only buy the cards, but without thought put...
This is true, you should always buy any product with a thought towards intended purpose. A Ford Focus is far cheaper than an F-150, but you don't want to try and move 20 sheets of drywall with a Focus. That said, paying more doesn't mean better built, and paying less doesn't mean it's "cheap"...
I hope stuff like this is how AMD starts bringing pain to NVidia. Nvidia's NSync and the premium price that puts on monitors versus Freesync should already be a factor, plus the many policies (NDA or the Partner Program) that are anti-consumer that AMD isn't doing.
Granted, I don't believe for...
Speaking of that, one of my favorite games in those days was Redneck Rampage, outstanding FPS for its day. Well the devs made replacement wav files for the audio in the game that were way more adults only. They called it the "Cuss Pack". You had to send away a check and they would send you a...
Yeah, the way Nvidia has been behaving the past few years has made me less eager to give them the benefit of the doubt, but who knows. Hopefully the truth comes out. Even if Nvidia is innocent on this one, there is still plenty to be pissed at them for.
I've bought USB, Network, Lightning, etc, cables from them and can't say I have ever had an issue. For the most part, a digital cable that's $50 is going to work as well as one that is $5, it's moving 1s and 0s, as long as there isn't data loss for some reason they are identical. I've never...
We didn't have ray tracing hardware for years, hasn't stopped me from enjoying games. It may make some games and environments better, but at least from the Nvidia examples, there weren't any where I would have felt something was missing if I didn't have an example with ray tracing right next to...
Yeah, I just yesterday bought a used 1080TI after seeing the pricing and Nvidia's lack of real detail on the non-ray tracing improvements to the cards. Ray Tracing is a ways off from inclusion in typical games, and I don't really care about any of the near-launch titles, especially not for just...
I agree, but I do wish they offered better incentives for paying in advance. Or, had a system where you could buy a set number of hours per month. We have two kids, and I imagine a lot of those of us that have been playing WoW since launch are now parents or soon to be, or just have busy lives...
I haven't played since the early days of Legion, but I have a CE of BfA sitting on my computer desk, still unopened. I typically only like playing when other friends are playing, but so far not many have rejoined.
My question is, is there more cross-server play? The friends I do have playing...
To show them who is boss! By making sure they got their money back as soon as possible, ensuring he couldn't use that extra money to pay towards some other debt or invest it as even earning 1% over 11 months would be better. Take that, Dell.
I have never met any of the iBots people often talk about, but there's a huge gap between spending $800 on a phone that is great for 90+% of people, or $40,000+ on a car that is awful. Pretty sure if Apple borked a car release, or even if it was a damn near perfect car but has a bad service...
Maybe, but the biography on him I listened to, he has maintained his main goal is to get battery tech out there more, he wants competition from other car companies and for them to take it seriously. Same with solar and all that. He has even kind of walked the walk by opening up a lot of Tesla...
I have been keeping an eye on their sales, because I want to get 1000ft of Cat 6, but even with most sales once I get the shipping estimate the price just gets blown way up. Is there any regularity to MP offering free shipping once or twice a year on network cable, or is their (admittedly...
Plus, what they were doing wasn't unreasonable. It's typically more important that your phone be available to use during emergencies and when you expect it than for it to be 5% faster than the slowdown caused. Rechargeable batteries fail in time, goes for any manufacturer, it's a nature of the...
