Fastest consumer nvme gen5 at eye watering price too!

I suspect these will come down as this clearly demonstrates point of diminishing returns. The R/W performance definitely bests any consumer solution out there, but the price as charged, well...
No options to force higher speed/XMP on laptops.
It runs fine at 4800.
However I can exchange this 5600MHz kit for a 4800MHz kit for about $60 less and it has better timings (CL40 vs. 48 on the 5600).
Is this even worth it at this point?
Crucial T700 is definitely fastest currently but watch out for heat!
The amount of power that Phison controller uses is insane. I guess it's to be expected after all >12GB/S is a lot.
Anyone see any real world benefit?
TBH, I cannot tell in real world use from my Seagate Firecuda 530. And...
I see these 48GB DIMMs are on the market and not too expensive.
Has anyone actually gotten four to work on a Z790 board?
It seems this is more AM5 territory but there have been issues as well.
Anyone have one?
I have the 2TB sample.
Put it in a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme with 5950X all stock.
Ran the usual benchmarks and it annihilates the WD 850 in the system next to it.
The benchmark suite at userbenchmark.com did not verify as it detected SSD caching (same result as if running...
Aside from unplugging the LED cable, is there any practical way to disable the RGB lights?
I know they can be turned off by installing armory crate but this requires leaving the software installed with TSRs which I do NOT want.
I have Corsair keyboards that let me set the backlight and save the...
Have it in an old box (i5 4400 16GB DDR3 1600, Corsair AX1200). CPU utilization is nil. I have another rig with a Ryzen 2700X and 1660 Ti 6GB and that one gets 24MH/S which is right about where it should be.
Played around with mem/gpu clock, undervolting, etc. Keep fans at 100% (a bit loud...
Just found this on MC website!

No picture yet, does this one have the big heatsink like other PCI-E 4.0 drives?
