My Moto X(1) was the best phone I ever had (followed by iphone and two samsung galaxies). By far.
Is Motorola still great in that way? Where: everything makes sense the first time and doesn't require years of wrestling to get the phone to stop doing stupid things?
Can anyone explain this? Why is the price of Samsung's older (green) MicroSD cards 5x the price of newer (blue) cards? What don't I know? Maybe the old one is TLC and the new one QLC?
It's not just amazon, I'm seeing this all over.
Ugh... why are people not listening to me? I *know* that can be done in windows, but I want the *adapter* to configure the monitors the way I need, because I have two such docking stations.
Be that as it may, I have two such docking stations and don't want to reconfigure the monitors in windows every time I change docks.
My question is about what logic the graphics adapter uses to pick displays so I can avoid this problem (in windows and otherwise).
I'm running into weird display ordering. Can someone explain what this thing wants from me?
I have an old dell laptop, two 2x monitor setups, and identical dell docking stations. The existing one is wired 2x DP->DVI, and output 1 is always the left, primary display. I set up a second dock...

not sure it's a step forward so much as a price increase.
i'd get a G9+ but trying to find a decent kvm that fully supports it is hard just at 5k / 120
I've been seeing posts about Honeywell PTM-7950 (or -7958) phase-change thermal paste, mainly on reddit. They say it's the bees' knees, and also only available from one website in china with questionable reputation. I see no mention of it on [H].
If it is what they say, its performance...
I'd like an actual case, I have a handful of drives to plug in. I've considered just using usb3 and samba from my dd-wrt router, but I don't like the drives not being secure and actively cooled.
So what do I look for to insure super low power consumption? There's no ratings for mobos and...
In my long experience with computers, all desktops seem to settle at around 60watts at idle. Has this changed?
I'm trying to build a new file server from newer old parts and am surprised that like the previous two, they also idle at 60-ish watts.
So if I were to get a totally new...
Macrium reflect backup can mount its backups as hyper-v or virtualbox, fwiw. It greatly simplifies p2v. I'm guessing you can clone that VM to a file structure that can be mounted into vmware if that's what you want.
what phones are these? how much revenue on one of them per day?
Is there any site that provides profitability calculator with particular cell phone models?
How do you know that shutting down afterburner eliminates GPU usage? If you're using another tool to verify that, which one?
If any tool that monitors the GPU causes the activity to increase (What Mchart says above), how can you know if there is no activity on that GPU?
You can be working on the computer. I see it both at idle and when the cpu is high doing something like firefox tab-whoring. But in the latter.... of course... it's slowing down legit activity by quite a bit.
Generally it's a few minutes and it kicks off. After I updated to 4.8.9 it took a...
But it's only using the HD530 for that, not the M360. Nothing is mapped to the M360 and no processes are using it task manager.. For the HD530, GPU-z shows that behavior as you would expect, occasional peaks, not these cyclic pulses.
But the activity shown with the HD530 in GPU-z is much more what you'd expect: mostly idle with random peaks. This is a pulsing that's longer than the polling interval from GPU-z.
I know that's quite an accusation but listen to how weird this is. I don't know if malware got into their code or they're running some revenue generating resource theft thing, or what.
So I've been using Torguard for a while. Recently (in the last major version) I find my computers spinning...
Ok here's that pic you all wanted. This is my fresh win10 install in high performance mode but with nothing running (applications).
The speed/utilization pulses are more sparse today and aren't going as high. The gap in pulses is from when GPU-z was looking at the HD530, which shows erratic...
Not since I reinstalled Windows, I'm just using the laptop screen. It shouldn't be doing this, afaik.
But before that it was docked and that has 2 monitors plus a third on a USB video adapter. It's possible that it uses both GPUs.... but the activity is still high.
Is it possible that GPU-z...
So it seems that this drive needs to run in AHCI mode to get full IOPS and support from Magician. In fact, even just to recognize the drive properly you need AHCI. I was upgrading from a Samsung 860 EVO SATA drive which was using RAID/RST (and had some issues with magician).
But I'm also...
I have a laptop (Dell precision 3510). Normally I used the integrated Intell HD530 video. However, in GPU-z I often see activity on the discrete Radeon R9 M360. It's not all the time - sometimes it's some constant nominal amount. But here it is using the GPU and increasing the GPU temp...
