We are all talking about the same issue. Do we all have RTX 3070s? I have a ASUS 3070 TUF OC. Its in silent mode (Performance vs silent) and no OC. Dead stock. I have tried using 8bit since a week ago. And while I havent lost signal as much, I still do. I think its a coincidence it happens less...

Whats the difference with just hitting the Windows+S and start typing and only hitting Windows key and start typing?

    LG 48CX

Ya, I also have the cable as the possible culprit as its most likely. As I have not heard any widespread issues regarding this and the RTX 30-series neither the OLED. Thank you all that chimed in on the black outs.. Also the ones not quoted. Will try to lower it to 8 bit for a while an see how...

    LG 48CX

I keep getting blackouts on my CX.. I sit in Windows doing idle stuff like browsing or editing in lightroom (never when I game) it will just randomly cut to black and say "no signal" then jump back to the signal. Whats the deal here? Is it the screen, cable or graphics card? The cable is a...

    LG 48CX

Randomly I will lose signal to my monitor. The image just freezes for a split second and then the screen goes blank and say "No signal" for then to imidiately go back to a signal where it will say the usual "Game mode". I see that Windows Night mode/light does not work after this. So I have to...

I am not sure I totally understand that setup as I am more of a visual type. But it sounds great. Especially the lower mounted CX. It would help a lot. Thou it cannot be mounted to low as if the angle is too great on this screen the color changes. But I guess that can also be helped sitting...

What specific cooler are you using. That seems way off normal. Are you sure its mounted correct? I had a Corsair H100i RGB Platinum (with 3x Noctua A12X25 PWM - 2 on the outside and 1 inside facing the pump) cooling my 9900K OCed to... was it 4.7 or 4.8. I dont remember. It would draw about...

Height is not what people want or should want. Height is the enemy of a monitor. For ergonomic reasons a screen should actually sit so that its height is condinated witht he height of your eyes. Its not good if you need to look up. This is also my main battle witht he LG CX as a monitor. If I...

Ya I also have mail spotify etc at the top, but I dont want that stuff wearing on the panel so if I am not actively using it I just minimize it. And so I end up not using the top 20-30% of the panel a lot of the time because I will neck pain. So solution is to lower it or get further away from...

Hmm. So I have been running the CX 48" now for about 2 weeks. And this is simply the best picture I have ever seen from a computer. Period! However. I am switching betwen my 49" Ultra wide samsung C49CR90 and if I could combine those two I would. The curve helps a lot with the edges and corners...

Thank you so much for taking your time to give your view on this. Ya. I have been measuring it out on the wall and while the width is okay - it would actually be less than the 49" super ultra-wide I have now because the OLED would be futher away. The height I am affraid will be too much. My...

Hi guys. Sorry to hijack the thread. I just bought a super ultra-wide 49" Samsung (C49RG90S) and I am having a hard time adjusting to it after being on 2x 24" for 10 years. I think I need some tools to work better with WIndows 10's.. ehh. windows.. I am so used to use the built-in maximising...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I found something similare with the H100 Platinum. Because the AIO intakes cold air direct from the outside it does not really matter to the CPU temp if the GPU is exhausting or intaking. One could say that the CPU cooling is isolated from any outside heating (aside from ambient). But I did have...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

So I am finally back with some more testing. This time bottom exhaust vs bottom intake. I didn't have an Accelero GPU cooler to test with, but rather just used the stock cooler and took the shroud and fans off. The interesting part is, that in therory it should yield lower CPU/mobo temps with...

@195W those fans are gonna be screaming and the system will be very close to TJ Max. I do not understand how that little cooler and those 92mm fans are rated for the same performance as a C14 with a 140mm fan.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

That is a weird way to look at it:LOL:.. From where do you even look then? (top?, left side?, inside? outside?) o_O . But with that in mind it is definitely pull as you can see the fan sticker from the outside where one would look from. I agree 100%. I was just commenting on the fact that...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

LOL.. completly acknowledge if I am wrong here.. But I still see it as pull.. Its is Pulling the hot air out of the case. We call it push when we are behind the heat. IE if we are behind a rad/cooler fx.. And pull if we are in front of the heat. Here the heat is in side the case, and the fan...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

wouldnt that be pull?.. Its pulling the air out of the case.. I.E. is pulling on the hot air. As the hot air is behind it. Sorry for hair-splitting here :bag:

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Just make sure that those programs/apps actually can utilise the extra GPU power, or you are wasting money/performance/noise/room for something else. Many people think that more expensive hardware yields better results. Thats not always the case. The U9S is not passive. You get a A9 fan with...

Almost all coolers can take the 9900K @ Stock.. The problem is that most motherboard manufactores does not deliver the stock settings for the 9900K. Most is around 170W TDP and I think the D9L is gonna struggle with that. Its should have no problem delivering the stock 95W TDP, but it does not...

I would gladly do it. Just dont think it will be financially viable.. Shipping costs would make it unfeasable :-P But be aware that my tests does not stress the GPU as the majority of your tests do. So the GPU is only 7W (GPU strictly) of heat into the system. Its only the buttom 3 tests in the...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Haha! :p So it interesting to compare the results with your results.. They show every different results (from my perspective). @60% (like your test) there is only 4.6c degrees between the best 240 AIO setup and the best C14 setup in my testing. That is with 3 fans on the 240mm. If we take the...

So after M1AFs test os C14 vs C14S vs 240 CLC/AIO I wanted to how much better an 240 AIO would be than a C14 setup - for my own eyes (not because he did not do a great job! - he did!). The testing has been a long underway (it has taken over 2 weeks to complete) as I have tested every setup in 4...

From artics website it is 23mm high.. So possible would work with an AIO. I dont think C14(S) can take the mark iv backplate then. Maybe someone could lossly measure it? Edit. Just measure it with the Corsair H100i Platinum (testing that AIO right now).. Seems douable. especially if you mount...

Accelero cooler - thermalpads? As of now I am running stock cooler on my GPU (ASUS 1060 6GB Dual), but i am doing the Accelero switch soon.. What you are saying is not 100% true or.. It sounds like you just googled the speed of it. But not really knowing it.. So Firewire 800 uses a 9 pin interface (was made in around 2002). That same interface (cable) is used for the newer 2008 (cant remember the exact year) FireWire S3200 standard...

Firewire is 400 Mbps (bits) so that is 50MB/s (byte). And for the 3 is is 150MB/s.. I think an X2 port of 985MB/s*2=1970MB/s can handle that :wacky: Even if it would be the 800Mbps variant.

That is nice. Before I started spec'ing out my NCase build I was making sure I could add a 10gig network card. So I did a lot of research and there are mulitple ways of doing this. Your approach is one of the easier to do and gets the job done nicely. Personally I couldnt do it that way as I...

I think I am beginning to understand what it means.. But I think the wording was difficult for me (a non-english-first-speaker) The two in the middle are outtake fans. Not intake. Outtake fans makes little sense when useing Accelero (outtake). Is this what has been tested? (I think this is what...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Sure you can.. But then they arent intake fans if you turn them around. There are only two ways to configure them for intake - as I can see it in my mind. Either mounted to the bracket with the fan behind (push) or the rad mounted to the bracket with fans behind that (pull).
