Yeah, but actually no. I know VERY wealthy people that aren’t that bright, but had other advantages; I know very modest wealth people that are brilliant. One can be, but is (significantly) not always related to the other.

Depends on who you’re dealing with for employees. Some will just walk out of the door. Other have the time, interest, and money to make things quite miserable for you.

I mean, if “You have to come to work to continue to be employee” is a way of causing employees to quit…I’ve got nothing for them.

As a manger of people, my first-hand experience is that some people were markedly LESS productive at home, while others were just fine. This fiction that people are WAY productive remotely…I simply cannot believe it is accurate overall. Ultimately, I brought everyone back in.

In fairness, I think the argument is a bit more nuanced than that. It is indisputable that there's an effect on demand from mining. The argument is more over the relative price impact.

There are no less than 10 people on this forum, and more in the local area, that are using cards from me, used for this purpose - with full and complete disclosure. If you know and trust the supplier, there is no reason not to use the cards at a favorable price.

I'd go with that as a likely point. Then again, given the MASSIVE secondary market for GPU's right now, I'd consider coming in extremely strong - maybe ridiculously so.

Not bad. I run through them pretty quickly and lose the hell out of the bits. For me, better to buy packs of 25 or 50 in each size and use them as consumables. Which...they are.
