My mistake, I just tried it, it was a Motorola charger, but not for Startac :( I looked it up and turned out it was a charger for the Motorola Nextel i1000; was wondering why it didn't fit in my Startac. I will have to search the house again next time when I am back.

You should try to find the warranty terms; some companies will refund purchased price. For a SSD, very surprised they didn't offer a replacement.
