    SideArmD SA4 case, CNC + AIO + 9.35L

i gotta agree with this. Also, the amount of people that makes custom loops are pretty few compared to regular air coolers, + there are even fewer in the sff "market". I think air cooling + sfx is the best way. We finally have some decent sfx psu's on the market, and I don't think tfx will get...

What case design do you want to see made?

Well phanteks have that new PSU adapter that makes it possible to use one PSU with two systems - Phanteks Innovative Computer Hardware Design dunno how that works if you power one of the systems down though.

What case design do you want to see made?

Yeah, and ugly as hell. I could live with it not being super sff, since it's two systems. Two itx systems in one atx case still is still smaller than the total footprint of two machines (depends ofcourse), and it would be so nice to have them both in the same enclosure.

What case design do you want to see made?

I want to have a system where I can have two itx systems. So that I can have my server and personal pc in the same tower.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Have not tried this, but I have this fan the the noctua one, and this is equally as good as the noctua one. It super cheap to buy separately.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

It's big, but smaller than most 2,5 slot cards. It's a beast of a card (1430boost out of box), and I'm so uncertain of what to do.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

dondan you say that the maximum thickness of a GPU with backplate is 45mm. How much clearance is it between the gpu fans and side panel? I have a 980 ti Gaming Extreme from gigabyte and it's about 55mm thick

Man I'm so on the fence. Love my Ncase and Node 304, but it's just so small....

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

If the "monolith" would have to be scrapped BC of cost issues in the mATX form factor, I love love to see this transferred to a mITX with better ATX psu support.

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

I so agree with you on this one. If I'm to be 100% honest, I would love for this project to rather be a slightly bigger ITX case, with room for more cooling and atx psu, rather than mATX. But I suppose I'm the only one, and would still gladly buy a Monolith regardless of the size. Damn that...

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

Yes. I'm one casefan short atm. (Waiting for it to arrive). I'm not that bothered just now since I'll get custom made cables and another casefan. Theres nothing of importance on the disk, so if it fails it fails and I'll get a replacement. The disks are rated for up to 60c and theres room for a...

Well, that's pretty decent load temps. My 3.5" and ssd mounted in the same position is roughly at 50c in desktop and 60c under gaming.

    Corsair SF600 600w SFX Powersupply

PSA. The "clicks" for the psu are normal for many corsair psu's, and it's just when it turns on or off. I really like it, since then I know when the psu is actually on. Nothing wrong!

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

Necere Thanks for your reply. Thats why you do this, because you are playing with CAD and actually sees the way everything fits together. I like that you also take air cooling in to account. Sure lots of people like water cooling, but If you want it quiet, air cooling is the way.(in my opinion...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Here you see the Gigabyte 980ti extreme gaming with the stock heatsink but without the stock fans. The fans I use are Noctua NF-F12s and the black ones are frames from Scythe Slip Stream Slim's (fan removed.) I went this way, as I want to have an as quiet as possible pc. Temps are around...

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

I feel this is a bit on the large side. for a mATX. I know you don't want to make less compromises this time around, but I feel some are ok. I think a lot of us likes the challenge - I know I do. Dimensions: 360 x 180 x 410mm, 26.6L I would really love to see compatibility for the Cryorig H7 @...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

This card from Gigabyte fits. I have it myself. If you plan to mount it in the two lower slots (using a pci-extender) the shroud is to long. I'll take some photos tomorrow and show it.

Ncase M1 owners; How is your PSU oriented?

I have my Sharkoon SFX-L faced outward since I have a 3,5" disk on that side of the case. It gets kind of hot there though, so I'm thinking of mounting the SF 600 inwards when I get it. But i'm unsure if the hot air will increase fan noise.

Ncase M1 owners; How is your PSU oriented?

Yeah, I have my psu the same way. But I'm thinking that my HDD is getting a bit to hot, so thinking of flipping the psu, but damn thats a lot of work :(

I'm just wondering if you guys have it oriented with the fan in or out. Can't decide on what to do.

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

250$ for the basic, but I want one with a solid side panel(29$), shipping(120$) and 25% import VAT. 500$ is ALOT of money when I'm already very satisfied with my M1. The only reason I wanted the case was the front and bottom intakes and support for 140mm fans. My ncase is just a bit to noisy...

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

I had the same struggle - but in the end I just couldn't justify the cost. It extremely similar to the M1 except for the IO and and finish, and like you - painted steel? Sorry, but it's not exactly exclusive like the M1. I know it's powder coated and insanely durable, but I'm not planning og...

    Corsair SF600 600w SFX Powersupply

I also went for the Sharkoon one. Mainly because of availability and price, but now I'm glad i did regardless. I'm hearing a faint ticking sound from the fan motor though. Nothing big, but I hate when fans have a noisy motor.

Even though you don't mind paying 300$, theres lots of people that do. If we take the Cerberus as an example; This case is 250$ w/o shipping and tax. Thats a lot of money, and most people don't want to spend that amount on a case. A few are willing, but to make a successful product you need...

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

I for one would really prefer to have the top sealed, and keep intakes to either front and bottom. mATX will always have some tradeoffs. Anf its possible to have 240/80 on the front, and 120 in the back, then that would be more than enough.

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

This makes me happy. I also love the fact that you are taking acoustics in to the equation. I feel way to many cases are way to vented now a days. Not that long ago, Luke from linustechtips did a test where he tested how much of a difference the amount of fans and their placement, and it was...

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

I really like this! This is more Ncase than many of the other designs, and it really stands out compared to any case out there now. Regards to bottom intake, I think there should be a alternative to mount the psu with fanside down, OR find a way to mount it in the front, like the Cerberus case...

I like these two very much. I like the way you recessed the grill on the first one. I don't like the colour, but the way the vents are recessed makes them really nice. I also like the rounded shapes and feet of the second one. As many people have mentioned it reminds alot of Powermac G5. A...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yeah, I bought this and with great success. The only thing is that I cant fit the slim schyte fans in the bottom. (missing 2mm) But I've ordered a custom bracket, so that I can lower them those 2mm. Will post an update when that is in place. Using a riser was golden as it enabled me to use...
