Another new Nvidia driver released today and HDMI 2.1 Dolby Atmos dropout still hasn't been fixed. Auto HDR is still broken.
They sell $2,000 video cards that don't work. No one talks about it because they want to keep getting free review samples because Nvidia WILL blackball you if you...
OLED displays are supposed to be incredibly fast. We saw that news about the 500hz TN panel monitor.
Is there any reason that these OLED screens can't already be 500hz besides manufacturers milking it and drip feeding people slow incremental improvements to maximize profits?
My computer used to occasionally reboot when it was idle or near idle (like if I left a playlist on in VLC overnight or something like that). Never happened during load or while playing a game. After I changed the idle power setting and disabled c states in the BIOS, it's been rock solid. Is it...
Does anyone here have an Nvidia 3000 series or AMD 6800/6900XT video card with HDMI 2.1 support connected to an AVR with more than 7 speakers? If so, does it actually work?
Even more specifically, is anyone with such a setup a programmer who has tested to see how many speakers various PC audio...

You know what you look like to me, with your pricey computer and your cheap LCD? You look like a rube. An F5-hammering, page refreshing rube, with a little taste. A big tower has given you enough space for a triple slot graphics card, but you're not more than one generation from owning a...
Overpriced, underperforming, rushed to market with bad quality control, broken drivers.
The 3080 doesn't have enough VRAM, the 3090 underperforms.
Fuckers couldn't even get G-Sync working at 120hz.
The overclocked cards don't even work...
Dozens of 3080 reviews. Tons of shilling. Tons of "10GB VRAM is enough for everyone" propaganda.
Not a single fucking review that tested HDMI 2.1 VRR. Not a single fucking review where someone got an HDMI 2.1 AVR and actually tested it with the 3080 to see if everything would work with...

It's looking like it's going to cost $3600.
They're saying June 2020 so it'll be released some time in 2022.
Get ready for some blurry ass shit.

Sorry for the dupe. Delete this crap.
This monitor is out in some regions now and will be out in the US on May 2nd. Might as well start yacking about it. I'm thinking about getting it, but I'm on the fence myself.

The new Samsung 32:9 5120x1440 monitor popped up on a Swedish site for about $1,700, and IT Show says that the 43" Asus FreeSync 4k/120hz monitor is going to be around $1,600.
It's getting pricey out there.
Regardless of the store I look at, the reviews of these cards are horrible. Everyone is saying they're DOA, they run too hot, they're unstable, etc.
Serious question: is there even a good 2080ti card on the market that's stable and doesn't run hot?
What do you guys think of this? I'm thinking about getting it, but I don't like the embarrassing stupid "RESPAWN" text in the middle of it, and it just came out, so there are basically no reviews. Is Respawn a good company?

The latest Nvidia drivers are a fucking trainwreck. G-Sync doesn't even work with them properly and tons of people are reporting constant driver crashes. It apparently tanked most people's performance in Apex Legends, too.
Complete joke.
AMD fried for less than this. I think Nvidia needs to...
They announce monitors in every fucking size except the one people want.
Is it really that hard to release a 30" or 32" 4k 120hz+ screen? 55" is too fucking big.
I can't get over how fucking dumb and tone deaf this industry is. Do they even talk to humans?
https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/nvidia-rtx-2080-ti-graphics-cards-dying/
If this is true, what a complete JOKE this generation of Nvidia cards is.
No HDMI 2.1, no significant performance increases, a shitty feature that still runs too slowly to be useful. Utter shit show.
I would kill for a G-Sync version of a monitor like this.

PNY accidentally put up their Geforce 2080 page early, and we have confirmation that the next generation Nvidia cards don't support HDMI 2.1. Of course, we all expected this, since Nvidia are evil cocksuckers who want to sell their shitty G-Sync modules instead of do the right thing. So...

It's never going to be supported well. Worst case scenario, games won't even support the aspect ratio. Best case scenario, they'll support it, but in a half-assed way that's actually worse than 16:9.
Overwatch 21:9 support has arrived*!!!!!111!!1!11!!
Nope. Weird, non-standard aspect ratios...
I'd appreciate it if an expert could clear something up for me.
Why can't OLED monitors just flicker at like 500hz so that they don't have any motion blur? It would be fast enough to not notice the flicker, but enough flicker to eliminate the motion blur. OLED panels are incredibly fast...
It's a $1,200 31.5" PLS 3840x2160 monitor with FreeSync.
The good:
* Generally beautiful image
* No noticeable input lag
* Very good response time for its size
* Nice build quality
* FreeSync
The bad:
* Out of the box, the colors seem a bit too saturated for my taste
* 60hz only...
