Yea, people keep leaving the filters on so the list doesn't fully populate. I turn them off every once in a while. Make sure you check those if you're having issues.
Glad everyone's finding this useful. There has been a lot of help from the community adding to this, thanks every one.
Hey guys, quick question for anyone with experience with barrow fittings. Would there be any compatibility issues with using the 10mm ID 12 mm OD petg tubing from Bitspower with barrow fittings.
The reason I ask is it seems Barrow petg tubing only comes in 8 mm ID x 12 mm OD.
Thanks in advance!
Also, just to remind every one who is interested at Computex 2016 Noctua said they are now in pre-production of their 120x15mm fan which are "scheduled for launch in late 2016": Noctua on Computex 2016
Yea, that's a good idea. Once I have a better sampling from others suggestions I will look into my top favorites with some higher resolution. It's unfortunate you were unhappy with the noise from the FW121 it is my top choice from the options I've seen so far.
Added. I was originally only going to include 120mm fans, but lets make this thing complete!
I don't have clearance for 20mm thick fan. I know Yate Loon and Deepcool make a 20 mm. You are more than welcome to add them if you want. I was hoping to make this a collaboration!
Hey all, its been a while. It's getting close to rebuilding time, and I have been looking into slim fans to fit in our beloved sff systems. I am mostly interested in the highest static pressure, but I compiled a list of all of the slim fans I know of with the company listed specs and thought you...
Hey alpha I am really interested in seeing your system, please put up picture when you start putting it together, I don't mind you posting here at all. Some words of caution, you will definitely have to route the tubing, how ever you are thinking of doing it, behind the end of the card in the...
Do you think I could join the club? I'm relatively new to this forum, but I built the dual 240 rad Ncase on the forums right now you can check my posts to see it. Look forward to hearing from you!
Your welcome! If you want help I'd be happy to tell what problems I faced. The biggest issue you are likely going to face is getting all the tubes from under the graphics card up into the case where your second rad, reservoir, and cpu block is.
Hey guys I have a new update for you I reapplied thermal paste and down-clocked back to Bclk here are my idle temps now. Pretty significant difference. I should also not that it is probably closer to 22-23C in my room now.
I've been really busy this weekend, but i will get a prime 95 load...
First of all sorry for the double post
Yea I don't understand it, but my temps are very similar even though it is a whole mV higher. I'm interested to see what your thoughts are.
Maybe this will answer your question, its pretty hard to see hopefully this helps you get a good idea of...
Here's my computer at 4.8GHz i have to set it to 1.37V to get it to run with my ram... The temps here are idle after super PI, but you can see how high they got during the test. I will do another Watchdogs test for science.
Yea priming was tough I had to hold that case at a very sharp angle forward, and had to fill the res that way. On the FrozenQ res both stops on the top had to be open while I had my funnel attached, else there was a vacuum effect that would prevent water from flowing into the AD2. This created a...
The noise at idle is completely silent mainly because I have my fans so low. Under load though they start to ramp up. For four fans in a tight enclosure they are still pretty quiet. I promise you will be happy with it.
This was actually pretty tricky, and will be hard to explain with out a...
Thanks! It was a little cluttered at first, so I shortened all of the SX600-G cables. They were too long since there was no room to put the cables with the rad on the bottom.
Yea, I will update my post with temps as soon as I get home.
The Asus impact VI has a cpu fan header and 3 case fan...
Hey guys, sorry for another Ncase M1 build... seemed like there was some interest in seeing the M1 with two 240 rads in it though.
Ill do the generic "what's in there" list then, pictures!
Computer:
- 4790K OC at 4.8GHz
- EVGA GTX 780 SC
- 16GB Trident X 2800MHz
- 256 GB 840 pro SSD

Hey every one. I recently finished a build in a v2 with two 240 rads in it, a gtx 780/water block and, an apogee drive 2. I was trying to decide if i should do a build log or not, there is so many... Would you guys be interested?
Less than a month till they ship, can't wait till mine gets here!
Aside from that, for those of you who have them already. I want to reuse my graphics card, but it is a twin frozr... and a 4GB 770 so no water block( i don't want to go with the generic gpu water blocks). Are my temps really...
Just stumbled across this thread, but wow great work. Glad I saw this after you finished it. The anticipation of waiting to see how it came out would have been torturous. I'm looking at using thin fans for a possible lower rad in my M1 how did the vortexes work out? I know you just posted this...
Yea but routing to it would be a nightmare and would most likely block any fan mounting below the graphics card. I don't really consider this an option in the M1. In my opinion the side grommet holes on the card specific gpu water blocks is what makes a complete cooling loop possible in the M1.
Hey guys first post here. Just ordered a M1 and started buying parts, super excited! Anyways, my question is, for those of you who have tried both, what AOI liquid cooler between the H100i and H105 was better in your case?
I am very concerned about airflow as I have a MSI gtx 770 twin frozr...
