I haven't checked this thread in over a year, but glad to see there are still lucky people out there. I have yet to ever find anything laying out waiting for me to grab it... ;)
Serious resurrection again! :D
I'll let these go for $100 shipped and INSURED, with tracking number. Could potentially get them out same day, and they will be there in time for the holiday. You can't tell they were even ever worn.
As great as that sounds, I don't think I would be comfortable doing that. There are a million scenarios that I can go through in my head that tell me not to take anything from ANYONE other than a relatively small non-refundable deposit, but I couldn't take a computer and then wait several months...
I don't want to come across snotty whatsoever, so please don't think any less of me for saying this.. but I've heard everything in the book from people who said they were interested. I've had at least 25 people flake out on me about the bike, and I do mean that literally. In fact, one guy was...
Never put it in the paper.. I was kind of trying to advertise it and sell it as cheap, or as free, as possible. :p
I think $4k was cheap too. It's a clean bike that I can guarantee has been well maintained since I've owned it.. In fact, it's been over maintained. I've changed the oil quite...
It wouldn't have mattered. He had zero feedback anyway.. He might be one of those people who re-registers with a new username and repeat this process over and over.... I don't know.
I wouldn't call it sold. :(
The auction is over, but the jackass hasn't responded to me in the last 3 days.. I can only assume he's flaking out. The other guy that was interested was supposed to drive down from NC before the auction ended today, and of course he said he'd have money in hand...
I'm just hoping the winning bidder pays up. It cost me $66.00 to list the auction on ebay. If they don't pay up, I'm going to be pretty pissed off. That's why I ended up closing my other account about a year ago.. so many scams on there, and so many people that don't pay up.
Thanks! :)
I discovered the same problem after listing it. I battled it out with ebay and now I can find it under a search.. They were trying to tell me it was because I revised the auction description, but that had nothing to do with it. I couldn't find it before, or after.. Now it's there. :)
I've got a "serious buyer" at the bank today trying to get a loan.. but so far everyone who said they were interested in it claimed to be "serious buyers" and I still have the motorcycle............... so I guess we'll see.
Too much computer for me.. ;)
I'd really like the money more than anything.. but I'd still consider partial trades, as I've said many many many times. Prefer the money to be the larger portion of the transaction than the trade, but we'll see.
What's the deal? Why no more interest with...
Thanks guys.
As far as keeping the bike, I'm torn. I love this bike.. I've put what I would consider to be a relatively large chunk of money into the bike, and it's the best bike I've ever owned all around.. but these random things continue to happen and it almost feels like it's someone...
Bump! I'd rather keep it than sell it for less than $4500 with 8200 miles on it..
I'm sure it won't be hard to sell it for a grand more than that in the spring/summer time next year, so if you pass it up, don't expect to get a $4500 bike from me when the weather is warmer again. I went on a...
What a JOKE! You guys don't have $5? Get a job! If you've got one, get a better one.. or learn how to manage your money. Stop crying about not having $5 to spend. You don't have to spend a dime to post on [H] otherwise, so be grateful!
