    Everything is gone again?

2080 Ti is still beating or equalling 3070 FE in many games:

    Everything is gone again?

So how limited are the Founders Edition cards? I'm not in a rush for a new GPU, but would like one of the 3070 FE's... Can I wait a few weeks? Months?

    Creality CR 6 SE

Got my non-KS version last week... A few of my notes: 1. Far from attach upright and go... I had to re-torque just about every fastener on the thing. Bed screws, extrusion cap screws, all eccentric wheels needed adjustment. Belts were ok though. 2. LED in the print head is a neat idea, but...

Ordered one tonight. Hopefully the issues are in the vast minority of units sold during the $4.4M launch... we’ll see in a few weeks.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Looks like I'm coming back to the M1 family! Sold my v1 a year ago and tried to do the laptop thing, but it just isn't what I need, so I'm going to order a v6.1. What are the shipping times like to the US currently? The store is offering 1-8 week $30 shipping or a 1-4week $45 option...

Is this actual components failing, or just another case of bad terminals/connectors that can be easily remedied?

    Creality CR 6 SE

I'll order one as soon as they're available. I noticed they pushed the estimated availability back by a month... Really looking forward to a dual-z & auto leveling machine for production duties. Hopefully they get the kinks worked out. What was letting smoke out?

What printers do you all use?

Well crap, I didn't realize Marlin 2.0 was the firmware... It's printing well with no issues, so I'm hesitant to update it... Also unclear on the process as the BTT & Marlin firmware instructions mention certain parameters "must" be changed... I'll keep researching.

What printers do you all use?

Thanks for the help! Much appreciated. 1. I can't seem to get it to print via streaming. It only prints if I upload to the SD. I'll try again this evening. 2. I didn't check... Not sure how to. I'm running whatever came on it with the Marlin Bugfix 2.0.x software. 3. I can manipulate...

What printers do you all use?

Set up OctoPrint last night. Seems nice, but I have a few issues that might make me abort it: 1. Can only print if I upload to SD card, which takes FOREVER. ~1MB/minute. Printing a file already on the SD card does nothing. Loading file from the SD card looks like it will work, but when I...

What printers do you all use?

I just set up my first printer (Ender 3 Pro) with many of the same mods! How do you like the BL Touch setup? My bed has a low spot in the middle, so I'd like to get into mesh leveling of some sort. Still learning though. So far: SKR E3 v1.2 Filament guide Tool holder (will toss soon - can't...

HOT ! Various 1TB NVMe with coveted E12 Controller $135 aprox retail

I wound up switching to the 512GB version to get a single sided drive. Pics on MicroCenter show they are single sided, but out of the ~20 my local MC had, only one was single sided. Glad I could go in person and find one. I'll keep my eyes peeled for SS 1TB versions and maybe hand this one...

HOT ! Various 1TB NVMe with coveted E12 Controller $135 aprox retail

Yeah, I think I should swap it out for single sided... Now the question is Inland Pro ($95 - Gen3 x2), or Samsung 970 Evo ($170 - Gen3 x4)...

HOT ! Various 1TB NVMe with coveted E12 Controller $135 aprox retail

Picked up one of these for $99 at the local MC for use in my Razer Blade Stealth ('17) ultrabook. It fits, but the laptop was meant for a single sided drive, so I'm flexing the drives PCB a bit. So far it's working great, but I'm wondering if I shouldn't swap it for a single sided drive...

Mech KB isn't for me - Looking for backlit quiet dome KB

I've come to realization I don't like the travel of mechanical keyboards - I guess I got too used to half travel keys on cheap boards and laptops over the years. I currently use a Microsoft Wired 600 (rarely - backup at home) and Dell KB552 (extensively at work). I'd like a backlit (white...

    i7 8700k +1080ti on silverstone 500w sfx-l?

Stress testing stock, and then stress testing OC'd, while actually measuring power consumption, will answer all assumptions.

    What the hell is this?

Silastic compound used to provide support for heavy components so they're not relying on their soldered connections for support.

    i7 8700k +1080ti on silverstone 500w sfx-l?

GPU manufacturers do that as a CYA so they don't get blamed when their card doesn't work in a system where someone is running a $17.99 Diablotek that barely meets ATX specs too close to it's edge when they didn't factor in their 8 velociraptor array into the power consumption calculation. He's...

    i7 8700k +1080ti on silverstone 500w sfx-l?

350W x 87% efficient = 305W actually being demanded by the rig. 500W PSU is more than enough for your real world use. Could try benchmark/torture testing to see what the rig is really capable of pulling.

    i7 8700k +1080ti on silverstone 500w sfx-l?

But a Kill-a-Watt meter for ~$20 and you can see what your system is using. Multiply that by your PSU's efficiency at that level and you should be able to tell very easily if you're over stressing your PSU.

    ASRock vs Gigabyte in 2017

No onboard video out is why I won't even consider ASUS for Ryzen ITX. I'd like to retain a possible use for the board as a compact HTPC/garage computer in its golden years.

    ASRock vs Gigabyte in 2017

All physical features being equal, which board maker typically has a better BIOS, fan control (BIOS or software controllable), memory compatibility and stability/reliability? Trying to decide on a new Ryzen ITX board - I usually stick with ASUS, but they do not make anything in that segment...
