My AIO is dying cooling my 9900k in my Ncase m1
Any suggestions on replacement? I've heard Air Cooling won't be enough for my 9900k in the Ncase M1...
It was 60+C in bios (default settings) and curerntly on boot up this is what it got to...
Kraken X52, X53, Cooler Master MasterLiquid LC240...

It's on sale... is anything better than this for the ncase m1 + i9-9900K?
Random question... Could I just swap out my cooler and fit my components?
Do people sleeve their cables in this case? What's the percentage of people using a FE card vs a non-FE GPU?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ktVC9W
So are you planning on releasing a new version yearly? How much does shipping usually cost to california?
Also, Do most people get FE cards / Rear Exhaust Video Cards for this case?
I imagine so.
I tried setting mine up like users who use the corsair h105 (which by the way has a 38mm width). [COMPLETE] NCASE M1 - High End Gaming, Photo & Video Editing PC
How come I can't fit mine even though it's 11mm thinner? (my id cooling is only 27mm thick). Fan + Radiator...
Unfortunately my radiator doesn't fit in that orientation because it leaves 25mm(fan width) less room.
Also the fan mounting screws aren't even long enough to screw through the side panel and then through the fan. The width ends up being too much.
The bigger issue though is though it doesn't...
It's great so far. I came from a gtx 670... so yeahh :)

Seems to max at around 78 degrees with my fan profile at 100% GPU load. I have it set to 80% @ 70C and 100% @ 80C.
I tried overclocking a bit and got to +190MHz GPU offset before it started...
Been wanting to downsize every since mini-itx got popular! Finally!
Compared it to my node 304 and corsair 650D.
Ncase M1 V5
Troubleshooting issues I had:
Installed cooler the wrong way at first... woops.
HDMI cables for testing were bad!
Cable management is pretty bad since I just wanted...
So I'm trying to figure out how you guys orient the fans in this case. Do people usually put 2x120mm fans between the GPU/case?
And then I'll be using a 240mm Radiator for CPU cooling so that's 4 fans total right?
Intakes from Radiator + GPU side and then exhausts through the back? Do people...
1. I couldn't get my last motherboard screw in. Like literally it won't allign.. and the I/O shield is pushed as far in as possible. Should I just say Fuck It?
2. What are these for? 4 120mm fan mounts?
3. I can just slide my psu in right when it arrives? (Having already installed the...
Yeah same.. I have everything bought but the GPU/RAM/PSU.
Debating on just getting a gtx 970 atm... (was planning on using my gtx 670 until pascal comes out) but man.. who knows when the 1070 pascal will come out anymore.
I got the GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 as well.. It was one of the few boards with a USB C port. The M.2 on the back is nice as well. Supposedly the MSI board doens't even support longer m.2 SSD's.
On the side note, my case in CA yay.
Looks great man! I have that same PSU for my NAS server. I'll probably use the Corsair SF400 when it comes out mid-jan though for my ncase build.
Did you have trouble installing that cooler? It looks huge.
Question: NH-L12 or NH-C14?
To be honest I'm still confused by this:
Max height (or width):
For cards up to 12.5" (317mm) or cards in the third slot: 4.4" (111mm)
For cards up to 11.5" (292mm) in the first or second slot: 5.5" (140mm) (4.7"/120mm at the PCIe power connectors)
What does this mean?!?!
Alright thanks.
So how do I know if my motherboard is compatible? Which ITX motherboards are compatible with the Dark Rock? And how does it compare to the C14?
C14:
Airflow: 110.3 m3/h
Airflow with L.N.A.: 83.7 m3/h
Airflow with U.L.N.A.: 71.2 m3/h
Noise: 19.6 dBA
Noise with L.N.A.: 13.2 dBA...
Aren't there 2 sides though with mesh panels?
Nice. Corsair just released this: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/hydro-series-h5-sf-low-profile-liquid-cpu-cooler
Curious how it performs. If it's quiet I might use it. Kind of looks loud though. It would have to beat the Cryorig C1 though...
Which demciflex filters would cover everything on the case?
http://www.demcifilter.com/c220/NCASE-M1.aspx
Bottom V2, L/R side, rear, and top?
anyone have photos with the filters on their case?
1. What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming / General Browsing / Watching shit.
2. Will you be overclocking? No.
3. What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU/MOBO/GPU/RAM (Looking to buy sometime next year.) I've already pre-ordered the ncase m1 v5.
4. If reusing any parts, what...
Alright so I eliminated the motherboard factor.. how about the cooling? What are the quietest AIO coolers that fits the ncase?
I want to avoid this....

I'm still clueless what cooler to get. What sort of orientation do I want my motherboard for the best build experience? Do I need the RAM slots on one side? The MOBO Power connector?
basically... what should I look for when choosing a motherboard/Cooler?
Has anyone done any extensive testing on Noctua Coolers vs 240mm radiators and which would produce a quieter system?
If air cooling would be indeed cheaper, is anything quieter than the Noctua NH-U9B SE2?
Basically my goal for it to be quiet rather than an overclocked liquid cooling monster. That's why I'm trying to figure out a good quiet air cooler. I know the larger the heatsink/fan then quieter it will be. I've heard a lot of QC issues with the ROG Swift PG279Q as well. It's the same panel on...
So I'm pretty set on this being my next case (v5).
There's just no alternatives sadly.

Been adjusting this build as new things come out.
Just need recommendations on cable sets, PSU cables, etc to make cable management feasible.
Also CPU...
