Thats just a malformed plastic like the mold was the wrong temp or not enough plastic. Impact on a normal pastic piece wouldnt look like that. If there was impact involved then the card board would be dented which doesn't appear to be the case from what i can see in picture. AOK imho.

Its not like you stare at your tubing all day. If something goes wrong like dead pump your system is gonna throttle and possibly shut down. It you want to monitor it you can get a flow meter or check temps for unusually high values.

Getting glasses helped me with my eye strain. I didnt even think i needed glasses but apparently i squinted alot and it caused eye strain.

I wouldnt have concerns with a quality 850w and that setup. Too much money for that setup to be chincy on a psu. Also if you use your rig a lot and keep your psu's for a long time, then a platinum or higher psu may actually be cheaper over time via efficiency.
