came outdecent heres a pic before i put a 200mm fan on the door my temps are great now reversed my front and bottom fans back to intake have the door 200mm fan as intake and top and back exhaust.
seemns like it my water temp is staying at 25c with room at 20c i still have a 200m fan coming im going to mount on the side to keep cool air coming in.
nice i was searching but using wrong words i found this i think will work and be pretty cheap to use i orderd the mesh below its large enough i wont have to cut it should be able to lay it out and fit it pretty nice without it looking to crappy...
yea door is side sorry i got a pretty bad cold so minds not working correctly with little sleep i been getting. I switched to a all exhaust but 1 because my rigs mines 24/7 on the gpu and couple a hrs a day my cpu gets hammerd so tons of heat i found with front as intake and top as exhaust over...
Hello i been thinking of maybe modding my case for awhile right now i have a top 360mm rad set as exhaust a front 420mm set as exhaust and a bottom right 360mm set as exhaust and a back fan set as intake. My temps arent bad mining 27-32c and gaming 37c-42c with card running at 2100Mhz on core...
Been happy with my LG ultra gear 4k but i have only owned it about 6 months i can say asus and Aoc have been good for me in the past 5+ years on each without any issues.
Got a new high some wierd issues i been having tho with either windows 11 or newest msi ab my card has been boosting to high causing crashes i had to dial back my normal oc to make it run same clocks as before.

latency on windows 11 still aint fixed i see wierd stuff also vs windows 10 but does not bother me really games seem to run good and os responds really fast everything opens in a snap and boots up faster then my 10 did.
When i first setup my x570 rig last year with a 3900x i was having wierd issues sometimes no post unless i cleared cmos or flashed the bios what ended up fixing it for me was pulling cpu out and putting it back in not sure why but that fixed it and even now with my 5950x no issues.
should be very happy with that cpu i went from a 3900x to a 5950x my 3900x maxed out at 4.4Ghz im able to hit 4.75/4.65Ghz on my new 5950x and after i got a TechN water block to replace my subpar ek one and did some work on my fans im staying under 75c in cb23 now can run 3800/1900 Memory...
Im not 100% sure how much heat im dumping into the loop the 5950x iv seen use up to 270Watts of power and gaming the 3090 kingpin will go up to 520 watts and then i have the mp5works active back plate cooler on it also so i figure i could be dumping 600-1000 watts of heat into the rads im...
I cant run with side panel off 24/7 i don't sensitive hearing but will give it a shot i tune my fans to a noise profile i can handle and my german shepard is kinda noisey shes tryings to see what the computer looks like lol. But i took side panel off to check air flow on the new fan and panels...
Have A 120mm in back pulling in air now and the x71 has mesh both sides of bottom bay so the bottom left rad fan get air. Heat coming out of rads is much cooler now heres my case the core x71 it has quite a few vents to let air in the top left spot is doing intake its working might not seem...
Yea my old case layout was front rad intake top rad exhaust bottom rad intake it waset cooling as good as it could cause i think i was adding more heat to the loop with top rad getting hot air i was lazy and didn't wanna spend the time to redo the loop. But last night i couldnt sleep so im...
reminds me i need to redo some of my benchs i got 64gigs of ddr 3600 running 4000 now stable had to switch to pbo tho from a ccx overclock so working on tunning that also.
Some good info there i always thought my water temps sucked i sit at around 20c amb and max my water gets up to is 30c most of the time its around 27 tho but after reading some of this looks like my temps arent to bad, if im not doing anything my water temp will drop down to 22-23c. I do have a...
for sure and much safer only issue tight spaces they are hard to twist and with me i have carpel tunel so they can be a pain i use a mechanics glove to give myself grip to turn them easier.
i wonder how much cheaper a mig to higher end b550 is compared to say a asus x570 tuff board that retails for around 160-200usd or other mid-high end x570.
i was very suprised how well my tuff x570 has performed i like it better then my strix-e to be honest only thing i miss is not having bios flashback incase something happens.
i own both the asus boards you have listed both run great i have to say i enjoy the tuff board more its been stable as heck no issues at all it just works is best thing to say about it i had some issues with my strix i had to work thruough.
yea its very wierd i flashed 4010 then back to 4021 and testing settings from scratch i think it might been memory settings making it unstable but still dont get why it was hitting cpu warning but this 5950x has been wierd sence i got it.
tons of issues for me pbo wont work it wouldn't even post kept getting random cpu overheat warnings when it waset even hitting 90c im back on 4010 to see if the issues goes away.
yea i just installed the new 4021 and my oc is very unstable now and temps are higher for some reason i been rocking these same settings for 2 months problem free.
from what i read also all the new asus boards with have the addative overclocking like the dark hero does right now so know knows gota be a reason they dumping lots more money into them.
Asus has another line of x570 boards coming out also i wonder if they plan to make 1 more cpu series for the am4 socket or they just trying to milk every last dime out of it lol.
You seem to know alot about curve overclocking you have any idea why when i use it and say lock voltage to 1.1 i get less perf btw im on a kingpin 3090 with the unlocked kpe bios.
Yea my cards really wierd i can hold higher mhz with a lock and curve but lose perf like i can hold 2190 no crashe but its slower then 2115 and funny uses less power also.
So you get better perf locking it then doing a straight overclock wierd thing on my card if if use a curve and lock it i lose perf for some odd reason.
your clocks are quite a bit lower also most of us are pushing 2150+ when benchmarking you should be getting around 12k on cpu score with that cpu so your not to far off on that.
