Looks to me like the 1050 Ti is about 25% faster then the 1050. I would avoid the 1050s since they only have 2GB RAM vs. the 4GB RAM of the 1050 TI.

How much less power would the card use, if you capped the frame-rate to match the monitor's 60Hz refresh rate? You can't test performance that way but you can use it for every day gaming.

I wonder it Kyle still has a GTX 1050 TI lying around for a real comparison to this Vega 24. I suspect it will edge out the 1050 TI.
PCPerspective also has a review: https://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphics-Cards/Intel-NUC8i7HVK-Review-Vega-takes-trip-Hades-Canyon
TechReport has the Fury X in their benchmarks: https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Performance_Analysis/Kingdom_Come_Deliverance/4.html

I thought it would be more of an improvement over the stock blower configuration. It's definitely cooler and quieter but I expected more overclocking headroom.

It looks like it only over-clocks to 1600 MHz, even with the three-fan cooler design and two 8 pin power connectors.

Guru3d has the Fury X beating the 980 TI @ 1440P and 2560P. I see you left that out since you are only cherry picking the results where the Fury X loses.
Although it does looks like AMD may be neglecting their driver optimizations for the older cards...
In their relative performance summary, Techpowerup has the Fury X 1% slower then the 980 Ti @ 1080P, 3% faster then the 980 Ti @ 1440P and 7% faster then the 980 Ti @ 2160P.

56,174 - Call of Duty: WWII - Multiplayer

Looks like it's edging out Black Ops III.
The longevity of it will probably depend on the...
