Lisa Su Saved AMD. Now She Wants Nvidia's AI Crown

China has been stockpiling Nvidia datacenter chips, reported to be 2 years of demand. Also, China is huge compared to Russia. You are making it sound way too easy to circumvent sanctions at such a scale.

Lisa Su Saved AMD. Now She Wants Nvidia's AI Crown

Nvidia is no longer able to sell to China. That is like 25% capacity that will go into other markets.

Lisa Su Saved AMD. Now She Wants Nvidia's AI Crown

Nvidia has a huge incumbent advantage. AMD will need to continuously pump out superior products for generations to have a chance.

    Deck OLED

Wasn't in the market for a steam deck but just checked the prices on used and its dropped a good amount after the oled news came out. $300 for a 512GB is a pretty good deal to get one to tinker around with.

Moore Threads MTT S80 GPU Escapes China, Gets Benchmarked

These guys are way behind even Intel in drivers. Not surprising that the real world performance in games will suck.

If I want to get a mac just to see what it is like what would you recommend?

Get an M1 Air. Its great as a secondary computer, Mini may be cheaper but you may have a harder time finding a purpose for it.

Is 256GB enough for the latest generation MacBook Air

I had an M1 base model and it was fine for basic usage. That said I am pretty good about only keeping what I need. When I buy for my parents I generally load up on the RAM and storage so that they won't call me up for tech support.

Pretty expensive for 2GB :) Anyway good TBW. Seems to be TLC, no-DRAM.

Are HomePod 2 really that good?

I'm expecting the Home Pod 2 to sound very good. Apple has always been very good about audio (value aside). If you are in the ecosystem it is hard to go wrong with one. If I didn't have something set up in every room already I'd look to get one (have combination of Sonos, Airport Express, and...

Corsair Ax1500i died and killed 3080?

It's certainly possible for water damage to cause corrosion over a long period. It doesn't have to blow up immediately.

Help Me Choose a Lenovo Laptop

The first is good enough for your current needs. That said, the 2nd one gives you more capability for the money. It has a faster CPU, more RAM, a better screen, and a GPU that allows for some gaming if you ever feel like doing it.

Possible to get a worthwhile ~$200-250 upgrade for GTX 1080?

The difference should be pretty significant. Still, you might do better to just spend a bit more for the next tier up 3060ti/3070/6700/xt etc. Can always sell the 1080 and get a bit back to make up the difference.

    AMD Surpasses Intel Market Cap

Intel would be worth a lot more if it divests its fabs. That said though I think the current valuation is too low. Intel will benefit from the current geopolitical trends. As long as they can execute (big question) there is a lot of upside.

3090 mining worth is at the moment?

In winter the electricity cost is offset by the savings in heating. Where I live the heating is electric only, so the mining electricity cost is practically free. You won't be gaming on it 24/7, mining is practically a no-brainer to offset the cost. Even if it were to fail it will be under warranty.

Intel Iris Xe vs Intel Iris Plus vs GTX 1650 vs Ryzen

Lots of 2 in 1s with Ryzen but cant think of one with a greater than 1080p screen. You need to pick and choose what is important to you.

When will Video Card prices come down lower?

As long as fab capacity is constrained Intel is not going to make any difference. Intel is using TSMC, not its own fabs for GPU.

Apple India factory of on probation for wanting better food and better conditions

New gaming PC build: AMD 5600X/AM4 or Intel 12600K/LG1700? You advice is appreciated!

I'd price out the systems and see what the actual difference is. Within $100-200 Alder Lake seems to be a better choice if keeping for 5 years.

    What happened to Zen 3+?

Doubt there will ever be a shortage. Makes more sense to mine with Epyc rather than Ryzen for Raptoreum. The parts to build a computer add up pretty quickly. Also Raptoreum care only about L3 cache. Doesn't make sense to get Zen 3 when Zen 2 gets the same hashrate.

2FA isn't the problem. Upfront payment by crypto is just a bad idea. Reputation is great and all but society functions in large part via the fear of consequences. With an upfront crypto payment there is practically zero fear as no one will be able to or bother to track that money.
