I thought the main slow down was actually video ram and gpu compute because it was drawing all the citizens body parts even when you're zoomed out?

Manor Lords - Early Access Release - 4/26/24

So far the previews are very positive along with what I've seen streamers playing. For Mack (worthabuy linked above) to sign its praises is a good indicator. As long as its not a crazy price I'll likely pick it up on GoG.

13900K - Out of Video Memory or BSOD during shader compilation in two UE5 games

From what I've seen in reddit reports, most aren't stating their gpus. Those that do list it, it is a 4090 and a few 3090 cards. Most of the reports seem to be issues on the i9 chips than the i7 chips and only 13/14th gen stuff. I would still test the heck out of a 14900k to check for...

Diablo IV - The Real Official Thread

Welcome to Blizzard these days. Overwatch2 is pretty bad now with AI bots handling all reports and it being slow to appeal if at all possible.

Ubisoft's The Crew is shutting down 31st March 2024 and will be unplayable after that because it is online only.

Just checked my account, same thing. It is listed under "inactive games". I'm pretty sure I got the crew from some free give away a year or two ago. Never played it.

Intel investigating the problem: https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-13th-14th-core-raptor-lake-gaming-instability-is-now-being-investigated and Nvidia jumps in, tells 13/14th gen users to talk to Intel if having stability problems...

    Star Wars Outlaws

Like the pictures show, just look at the story lines, face animations etc. in the Division games. Lots of low key grrl power stuff in Div2 for sure.

All three of those companies offer far far more services than a table at a flea market. If the flea market was running a credit card processor and concession stands with free drinks, maybe that would be a similar comparison.

    Cities Skylines 2

Sad to hear. It just seems like a worse version of CS1 which you can easily call Traffic Sim Crazy: The Game.
  11. R

    Star Wars Outlaws

Its Massive, they're aren't known for great faces/face animation on their characters. See Division 1 and 2 for proof. That said, they do look better than in those past games.

Baldurs Gate 3 - Official Discussion Thread (2019)

One of these days I may try to go beyond Act 1. All of my time has been in co-op with a friend but I'd probably start over with a new character as was not having fun playing a Ranger early on.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (Rocksteady)

Perhaps you could call those actions a sort of justice done by a league of heroes. It certainly offers up diversity of gameplay and inclusion of more players to the game.

Global sales of XBox are so bad developers wonder if supporting the console is worth it for them

That might help but they clearly make a good amount of cash from that with the gamepass stuff. Sony raising PS+ to $80 last year finally got me to quit their service that I rarely used for my PS4. It was maybe useful for 1-2 years but only at the $30 discount price I sometimes found. I've never...

    Dragon's Dogma 2

Meh, I saw the start of Cowboy's video earlier. He says the dev's did notify reviewers of the dlc, others say they didn't get that info. It is possible people are lying and its possible that the reviewers got different info depending on the PR company/Devs or regional issues. I disagree with...

    Dragon's Dogma 2

He says as much, that he's not far in but what he's seen doesn't impress him. Edit: Denuvo may ban you if you delete your save files...each new game counts as an activation, 5 a day limit like usual. Saw a steam review where a guy was trying to get the game to run in Linux/Proton and ended up...

    World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

They restore low level pvp, promote the level locks that they put in years ago and put in some better gear for those low levels again with some crazy enchants. Then you would have a relatively stable gear wise pvp option.

GPU prices — is the worst behind us ?

They have favored the nvidia feature set mostly because of DLSS for the past 2-3 years. Less so RT. Given their history with Nvidia, especially when they got flack for not caring about RT during turing it is interesting to see the change. C'est la vie I guess. They and GN went down a notch in my...

So many games that are just the same sale prices as 2-3 months ago or 2-3 weeks ago. D4 at $35 ain't bad I guess. Not that its really worth that for me.

    Dune: Awakening

Conan Youtuber covers the game info he got at an early preview. Its a MMO, no private servers via a dedicated client. Possibly rentable private servers though. I'm not sure how a MMO is going to do well in this day and age. Also, the beta sign up apparently requires a discord account as the beta...

    WWE 2K24

$120 for the ultra mega edition with the 40 years mode. I had no idea they shut down the servers for 2k22 at the end of last year. I'm not much into these games but that enough means no buy from me until its dirt cheap, much like how I got 22 and 23.
  38. R

    Dune: Awakening

It looks good, especially with vehicles, flying ones at that. But.. it is Funcom. Expect jank, and now battle passes with high prices for game shop items to make your base look oh so pretty. That or give you better vehicles, weapons etc.. Edit: Oh, its an mmo. So monthly fee?

No Man's Sky - a procedurally generated sand box space exploration game

I think the base has to be touching the ground at some point but many have found ways to make them mostly floating bases.
