    Backing up your WHS (online)

I've thought the same thing. Using the SyncToy to copy data from WHS to another PC and then using PC and Mozy to get data online.

Thank you. Agreed and done. What about doing something like this? In CSS of course. Wouldn't embed the text in the image. I need a better contact form plugin, one with better xhtml/css. But I can't seem to find one. I'm working on making this look better and more usable. ie...

@sheesh721 Thanks for the feedback. I will be taking a thoughts into consideration as I take some time to update/change. I am going to move from Dreamhost. I've never had any real issues, EXCEPT the speed or should I say consistent slowness. Recommendations? How does everyone feel...

@PTNL I will work on the copy. Menu will be affected because of this. You really don't like the background? I think it looks awesome at 1080p. But I may darken it up again as well as the transparent black. Too dark? Yes, but that was intentional. I have played around with more "white"...

@Shadowssong I have played around with some other colors for the menu items. I will try something else. I understand the green/white combination is kind of washed out. Between posts, quick hr line with a grey color should help divide each blog post.

@CraftyChicken AFAIK, having the keywords at the beginning is good for SEO. Until someone shows me otherwise. @tgabe213 Will try to come up with some borders and maybe just a different color background behind the menu. How else can I make the "breadcrumbs"?

    Windows Home Server FAQ

Most of the features are Windows 7 based. One of the sweet features is indexed search. Open up Explorer and search will look locally and to the WHS for files. You sleep everynight, so why can't your server get a little 3 minute shut eye?

    Intel X25-M SSD 80GB RAID-0 or NOT?

An SSD RAID thread pops up every few days, why not look back. Off the top of my head, the SSD will be faster than your RAID0 and TRIM isn't supported in SSD RAID. So, do you really need to spend $600 for such an increase in speed?

How do I tell if a router is dead or trouble shoot it

Sure it's dead, move on. Or, as stated before, wipe it clean to default settings, update the firmware and setup PPPoE correctly.

was my data secure during the remote session?

Any tech support always has long pauses. Sometimes I wonder if they answer the phone, put you on hold, then go to lunch and come back.

How to get rid of this?

msconfig, you can stop services/programs from starting Edit: Nevermind.

How do I tell if a router is dead or trouble shoot it

Only one device needs to sign in. Just let the router initiate the PPPoE connection, unless I misunderstood.

If you have to ask, don't, x86 (32-bit). Although, x64 takes a small amount of tweaking at this point, we are almost there.

    Reason for HTPC

A proper HTPC can become the center of all your home entertainment. LiveTV, DVR, Hulu, Netflix, DVD's, Blu-ray, archived TV, music, and all videos. All on demand with the click of a remote. Being able to "extend" (most of) those features to other TV's around the house. And now you can put...
