I’ve never cared for overclocking and I’ve always looked to the non-k processors for two reasons. Number one, the difference seems pretty marginal in my opinion, and number two, I simply do not have time to screw around in a Bios looking at settings or messing with coolers and paste. I have kids...
Would it be possible to fit some of the taller GPUs by using an angled PEG connector? I know it's on the list of incompatible GPUs, by wondering if there are any brave soldiers out there who attempted a Strix 1070.
Isn't the Ryzen 1700 processor supposed to be 65W? Why are they selling it with a 95W cooler?
Also, I remember from recent slides that there was a third Ryzen cooler that looked lower profile. I haven't seen anything about that since.
I was thinking about the NH-L9a in case I end up going with one of the upcoming 65W AMD CPUs, but I noticed that it is not compatible with AM4, and their NM-AM4 mounting kit is also incompatible with the NH-L9a. Anyone know what the story is?
Edit: Looks like they'll be offering a compatible...
Anyone else planning on a Noctua NH-L9i along with their 25mm NF-B9 redux fan? That combo should be 48mm tall, but I'm worried about it being too close to the vents and causing unwanted noise, or not cooling effectively being that close to the vent.
I'm having the same problem and on mobile. Does anyone know if there are any slim 92mm fans aside from the Noctua? I'm considering the NH-L9i for my Sentry and while I know the fan is great as I've owned it in the past, I'm not sure I'm willing to give up my aesthetic for it. They also make a...
I got a nickname for ya. With all the talk of heat recently, and the look of your case, I immediately thought of this. Probably not a selling point though! :p Regardless, I will be putting a stencil of a piece of toast on mine! Can't wait to see it in black.
This case looks great, just what I've been looking for. I'm not even in the market for one but will probably pick one up anyway!
The first post mentions front panel customizations. Can you describe that a bit more?
