Slow down happens when the cache fills, it can be any size of files that can fill it. Some people seem to not always have the issue, while others can re-produce it every time.

Interesting maybe the latest firmware has resolved the issue. I will keep an eye on my drive and bench it every now and again and post my results here on Hardforum.

Heard good things about hynix. Bench it and post them bench it half full and post again if u can. Want to see how drives stack up vs each other. I still wouldn't mind a 4tb version for my main rig but best buy didn't have any and I had a 60 gift card for best buy.
