edit: It's Official! Reference Liquid Cooled RX 6900XT

Oh, you can buy it. It is in stock on Newegg (also the PowerColor 6900XT is in stock, at the same mouth watering price of $2,500).

Assuming you have $2,500 burning a hole in your wallet...

Considering the card is not 8.3 times faster than my RX5700 reference, that I paid $280 for........ :) Oh, and I think it makes more sense to say eye watering because, for that money, I would put it into something more useful, like a 32 Core Threadripper CPU and motherboard, along with some ram.

Personally, I'd rather the AIB partners or Newegg get the extra money rather than the scalpers. But that is a ton of cash for a video card.
I have zero problem with retailers jacking prices...why because they cant/dont make huge profits on everything...they sell some items at a lose and make it back on huge margin items (like videos cards currently) its up to me to find it cheaper elsewhere as its ALWAYS been. Right now in my opinion nvidia is making tons more cards than AMD since AMD alcoates so much to the consoles and what not.

Its in the retailers interest to make max margin as possible but that doesn't mean they cant/wont sell certain models at a lower margin. The longer cards sit on the selves the better of for us customers.

It why I believe MC is not jacking the price up on AMD cards. Scalpers don't even want them. $1000 for a 6700xt is just insane. They current do have a 6900xt for $1600 tho.

6700xt card is reference for 479 and that tells me retailers have to be buying them for less to make any profit at all. History tells us these aftermarkets can go for 100-200 over reference prices.....that leads me to believe MC or anyone whos selling them i highly doubt is buying them for over 500

That is AMD MSRP. AiB don't have to follow it when they are not making reference cards. So explain to me then why are they not selling 3080s for $2k+? The 3080 I brought back in January only went up by $50 since then at MC.

Seems to be available in online stores in India for ~$3000 (accounting for taxes, should be $2000 in USA, I guess)

As reported by XtremeGamingNerd, there are in fact as many as three Indian retailers currently selling the RX 6900 XT LC without a system

MDComputers.in has listed the card for INR 223,020 that is roughly around $3000 USD. Primeabgb.com too listed the card for the same price but Vedantcomputers.com listed it for a lower price of INR 213,020 that is around $2870.

...retailers in South Asia generally have a larger amount of freedom when it comes to the sale of OEM parts. For example, the Ryzen 5 3500 and 3500X have been both been sold individually despite being restricted to pre-builts and SIs in the West.

We checked with AMD and turns out that these aren’t supposed to be sold in the retail sector in India either. Will have to wait and see if they take any action or not.
