Any experience with the Phanteks Revolt X / Pro? (Phanteks 719 / Luxe 2 case + dual system)

Picking up a 719 most likely for a 10980XE build; but also considering chucking in a small ITX server as well (why not? it's there!). The "recommended" power supply for that seems to be the Revolt X or dual Revolt Pros... but, I'm curious:
1. Do you really have to have one of those? Could you use two different PSUs and just use the reset switch to power on the second system, and not care?
2. Any experience with the PSUs in general? Reviews are somewhat sparse, and I can't find anything here really either.

System is currently planned to be:
10980XE + Designaire 10G
128G RAM / 2x NVMe
6800XT or 5700XT, depending on what I end up chucking in
16x 2.5" drives
SAS controller

Second System:
ITX Epyc Supermicro (Epyc SoC, not a full-fat chip).
128G RDIMM
10G card.

1200W should power both of those... or dual 800s, obviously. Just curious the best way to go about this - if the single PSU is enough, or if I shouldn't bother with the specialty one and just use two totally independent setups.

I can't answer on #2, but since I have the case, I can answer #1: you will have a hard time fitting 2 PSUs plus all the other stuff at the same time.

Technically, you will need to either mod the case or get creative to fit the second PSU since the case is designed for either ITX or 2 PSU, but not both (occupies the same slot).

If you are watercooling, it will be an even tighter fit with all those SSDs. AIO should be fine as long as it isn't too big.

For the 10G card on the ITX, you'll want a Phanteks-made PCIe extender, as it will fit perfectly with the mount included with the case.

Oh damn, you're right - I confused the Enthoo Elite with the 719. The elite puts the second system flat, the 719 is smaller and puts it vertically.

Huh. The elite looks like it could take two. Got it - and that sucker is $900. So, ok. Rethinking that a bit.

Nope, that's not accurate either. Some are just doing it that way because they use an mATX and ITX.

They are similar, that's for sure. But the elite has 10 expansion slots, so it could actually be regular ATX+ITX if the ITX cooling is low profile. But either way, for a $700 price difference, no thank you. Yikes.

Yeah. If I get a board with 10G built in for the ITX, that would solve a few problems. Looks like I need to design the main system first, and then figure out what I could fit in there. That being said, finally found a few comments on various places that say it's a perfectly good seasonic PSU.

edit: How you like the 420mm AF2 cooler? Was debating on that or water for this - stock speeds to light OC for now.

The cooler is a beast! Right now I'm putting 315W into it and the hottest core is 78C (granted, the ambient temp is somewhat low), and it's not running 100%, either, so the sound is quite tolerable. Even the little VRM fan isn't annoying at all. The CPU is on a mild non-AVX OC and moderate AVX OC, I should up the regular all-core, but it spends most of its time on AVX512 loads so I just haven't bothered. At stock it barely got warm at all, even when I originally had it on a D15 air cooler (by comparison, at the same OC, the D15 was over 100C at 100%). The only downside as I see it is that changing the fans requires cutting the sleeving to get at the connectors, but that won't be an issue until Noctua releases the A14x25.

I should also say that it fit to the front of my Luxe2 (it doesn't fit the top of the case) with no issues at all.

Perfect. Ordering that then, if I go with this case (leaning strongly towards). Wish it had 5.25 bays external (I use a pair of 8x2.5"/1x5.25" bay adapters normally), but that's my only complaint - and there doesn't seem to be a good case outside the P100 or the Obsidian series (which I HATE the big versions of) for that.
