I managed to get my hands on both the Red Devil 6900XT and the ASUS Strix LC model. Going to return one, just looking for some opinions on which one you guys think is worth keeping. The Red Devil costs $1459, which I know is inflated up from their original MSRP, while the ASUS at $1499 is...
I just got mine yesterday and this is my favorite monitor thus far. I previously used the 3840x1080 version of this monitor and while I really really hated the low DPI and how big everything was for desktop use, the immersion factor for gaming was just too good. Having a monitor like this that...
I've been using a Blade laptop with eGPU for some time, and starting to realize I don't travel that much to where I would need a laptop with me, and so I've been kicking around the idea of moving back to a desktop for the added power. I definitely want a SFF case, but from what I've been seeing...
I bought a PG348Q and returned it after 4 days for the X34. Main reasons for me:
The PG348Q had a strange dark line in random spots going on the right side of the screen at 100hz. This would disappear and reappear at random.
The speakers on the PG348Q are inexcusably pathetic. I had them at max...
Anyone have or use a UP3214Q for gaming? Mostly curious if it's a good monitor for that use and if the IGZO panel makes a difference in quality? I have the opportunity to get one for about $1200 and trying to decide if I want to do that or not.
Blah. Why do all of these monitors with gaming specs have to be so tiny? 27" really? I've had a 30" monitor since like 2007. I've been using a 34" curved 21:9 for the immersion factor, but it would be nice to have one with Gsync or gaming specs. Every time ASUS comes out with a monitor for...
So I've finally cut ties with this monitor after a couple replacements that both displayed various levels of colored lines. My original 34UM95 had green lines that would show up in grey or dark scenes. LG sent a replacement which arrived as the international version (rev 03), and it had dotted...
Just received my warranty replacement from LG...it appears to be the Korean version and not the 34UM95-P, but it does indicate revision 03. While my issue with green lines is not occurring, instead I have a much less pronounced issue with visible blue dotted lines in dark places. I'm beginning...
So I'm having LG ship me out an RMA replacement to see if it fixes my green lines issue with this display. Has anyone else gotten an RMA from LG? What is the date/revision on the monitors they are sending?
So after having the 34UM95 for about six months I just picked up this monitor today from Micro Center. Holy crap the difference is amazing. Where the 95 looked kind of pixelated, and always gave me issues with green lines in places at times, this monitor is crystal clear. Can't see any pixels...
Which do you like better? I've had the 95 for about 6 months too. I like the wide FOV, but mine has strange issues with showing green lines over random parts of the screen at times and I haven't been able to get that issue resolved. Thinking it might just be my display.
