    CDW Outlet Finds

They must have more than one. I thought CDW stock was real time. I got an order confirmation this morning and it's still showing in stock

Ready or Not: tactical SWAT game

Some levels the AI is fine, others they struggle. They are regularly pushing updates to the AI. I'm confident it'll be solid by launch.

Ready or Not: tactical SWAT game

I think so. I paid $120 and I'm not disappointed. If f I recall correctly there are 7 (mostly) finished levels right now, each of which have between one and five different missions (eventually all will have five). The devs have been great about updates, sometimes 2+ a day, though I think some...

Ready or Not: tactical SWAT game

The updated alpha is remarkably good. All the doubt I had has been erased. It's straight up Swat 5. Also since the update, they've been pushing 1-3 hot fixes a day, often fixing bugs within 24 hours of being reported. The team is killing it.

[H] Stock Alerts, Tips & Tears for Nvidia, AMD, Intel, PS5, XBOX

The Galax USA FB page links to galaxstore.net, as does their official steam group (which was founded in 2015). Whois shows the domain was registered 9-23-2014. I'm not seeing anything abnormal there. The address being a UPS store is a little weird. Last time I was through there, there were...

[H] Stock Alerts, Tips & Tears for Nvidia, AMD, Intel, PS5, XBOX

Is this supposed to be a retail store? That's like 20 minutes down the road from me. I have a doctors appt. across the street next week, I'll have to go check it out and see what is there.

    Red Dead Redemption 2

Your 1060 doesn't support DLSS. Requires an RTX card. Nothing has been announced about a current gen console build. We're talking about R* here, so it's all but guarenteed, I just wouldn't expect work to even begin on it until they finish the GTA V re-release. I'd confidently say it's a year...

The Last of Us: Part II

I wonder if some of that has to do with their PC support as well. I've always been PC first, and I've always bought consoles soley for their respective first party titles. With Xbox, I no longer have to do that, and I doubt I'm alone. Same goes for the fact that they continue to support their...

The Last of Us: Part II

While that's true, it's not like a colossal amount of work is happening here. It's upping the resolution and framerate on esenntually a computer. The haptics take more time, sure, but it's still probbaly incredibly minimal cost. This should just be considered part of the cost of doing business...

The Last of Us: Part II

I don't want the expansion. It's stupid that I am required to buy it to also get the next gen features. It's not an accident that the expansion and next gen upgrade are a combined purchase. It's anti consumer bullshit and I'm not buying into it.

The Last of Us: Part II

Pedro Pascal kicks ass, he should be a great choice for Joel. I'm a bit less convinced about Bella Ramsey doing Elle justice, but I'm going to keep an open mind about it. I'm sure they are working on it, but I'm not sure I care. Sony charging $30 to upgrade Ghost of Tsushima really pisses me...

The Last of Us: Part II

Same. They are about the only entertainment company I'd trust to make this is dark and gritty as it needs to be. I have high hopes.

    Battlefield 2042

Does it? I know very little about how the games industry has adjusted to WFH, but it seems to me that employees not being able to return to the office is the reason for the delay. Wouldn't it make sense that for a huge project requiring hundreds of people to work together, having those people...

Steam Deck officially announced by Valve

A lot of games on PC work better with a gamepad than a keyboard and mouse. Games that require precision like FPS obviously are better with KB+M, but they're still playable with a controller, and the gyroscope and/or touchpads should increase that edge a bit further. Obviously you're to be held...
