I'm specifically going to boycott it, as I have the past several years. I only use Amazon if I absolutely need to, they are far too much of a monopoly and anti-competitive at this point.
I miss the replaceable batteries from the phones of yesterday... I had LG V10 and V20, but that series turned into a royal mess, and no flagship level phones have replaceable batteries any more. I guess it's hard to do when you have a glass backplate for wireless charging or you want a more...
I'm still running a Note 9, going on two years now, and still pretty happy with it. Nothing has come out that really makes any sense to upgrade from... Maybe Note 11? Honestly, the things I really care about (battery, camera, sound) mean what I really need is to just get a decent camera and...
I'm still holding out a bit of hope that they will have a bios update for 4000 series... My board has 128Mb bios memory. 🙃 Regardless, this is out of my acceptable price range - for what I do I'd be better off with a 10900K.
Lowest I've ever seen this. Other process prices seem to be holding despite the 3000XT parts announced.

I feel like the jump from 3600X to 3700X isn't going to give you that big of a boost, certainly not any kind of future proofing. You might find in highly threaded games, but it'll be a while still before 16 threads are utilized for most. I'd suggest maybe waiting for the 3000XT series to drop...
I suspect we'll see it go even lower, closer the $389 MC's have it at now, and I wouldn't be surprised if it drops closer to $375 or $350 once 4000 series hits shelves.
I've currently running a 1700X I can run at nearly 4GHz if I want to, so I figure it's not worth upgrading to another 8C16T cpu, yet. I'm going to wait until he 4000 series comes out, and then either go for a 3900X or a newer CPU, depending on the change in price/performance.
I'm lucky, it's only an hour from my house, and well worth the drive. I enjoy killing an afternoon or evening looking at all the gear. I also like supporting the local retailer, I'll be very sad if MC goes the way of Fry's...
It's going for $420 at other e/retailers, as seen here.
