The thing about tech is that it always advances - becomes cheaper/faster/more capable as time marches on. These price “scares” and supply doom and gloom write-ups always seem to go no where. If it gets bad, manufacturing capacity goes into overdrive and self corrects… may take a little time...

Did the same - upgraded from a Pixel 7 Pro to a Pixel 8 Pro + free Pixel 2 watch. While not a massive upgrade, I feel the improved screen, cameras (which are already amazing) and a bit better performance/battery life will be worth it.
