this is what is comes down to with the entire AMD vs Nvidia debate...if you care about ray-tracing go with Nvidia...if not go with AMD...DLSS used to be a big win as well for Nvidia but AMD seems to be getting better with FSR
that's a better way of doing it...here in the NYC store they force you to camp out...the night out I camped out for the 3080 it was one of the coldest days of the winter as well (January 2021)
only thing I don't like about MicroCenter is that they don't tell you how many items are in stock for a really popular product (GPU)...they force you to wait outside the store for hours before it opens in the hopes that they might have a particular GPU in stock...I did that with the RTX 3080
seems like they purposely leave out advanced graphics settings and features so they can add them in later as part of their 5 year support plan for the game...no point playing a new Techland Dying Light game at launch as it'll be much better after 1- 2 years
it's probably not the PC version they showed in the trailer...the first game was ahead of its time in terms of technology and way ahead of the console versions
no it shouldn't...it can exist in both places...this is a Tech News subsection...the console section is separate...both can exist together...I've never seen anyone so obsessed with nitpicking forum topics on any forum in all my years
every News story can theoretically go in its own dedicated...
CryEngine in general delivers amazing looking foliage, lighting etc...the forest sections of Crysis 1 still to this day look incredible...destructible environments, facial animation, textures etc
the first Kingdom Come game got high praise for its visuals back when it first came out...

agreed...I don't understand why more developers don't use CryEngine...it's probably more difficult to use but it delivers gorgeous visuals and features
