The >140 watt CPUs might be hard to manage, but we can cool 140 watt CPUs in the Dan A4 now. V2 should be even better at it, because you can use the Asetek 545LC.
This isn't directed at you specifically, but there's a lot of misinformation flying around about what's viable in the A4. I was...
I like the band support, small bezels, and 360 degree camera. The "Ocean Depths" color is beautiful too! The lack of 3.5mm jack kills it for me though.
I just assembled my system and don't have any problems with a Samsung 960 Pro NVME drive. My Gskill TridentZ 3200 RAM won't run at 3200, even though it's on Biostar's QVL list. Hopefully that AGESA update comes soon!
It's in stock again! Protip: set up a Nowinstock.net alert for the X370GTN to get a text or e-mail when the mobo is available. That's how I snagged mine.
There's no room for a top fan with Dan's cooler in the A4. If you have more room for another fan in another case, you have room for a lot of other coolers already.
Try opening up the case and aiming a fan at different parts of the motherboard. If the temperature doesn't change, it's more than likely a stuck or false sensor that you can safely ignore.
