Project MT4 - 3D printed mini tower case

I'm not sure yet if the design will be posted on Thingiverse, as I was originally intending to have it distributed by some other means. Now, I recently bought a newer GPU. I swapped out the R9 285 for a RX 570. The mini Sapphire Pulse looks great and it should not get as hot as the old card (I...

Project MT4 - 3D printed mini tower case

That is one of the priorities for the next version of this case. Right now I can answer if a HDPlex 400W can fit with a "maybe" but the cables will be a tight squeeze. The next version should have better positioning for the 400W. Alternatively there's also a KMPKT Dynamo 360 which can augment...

Project MT4 - 3D printed mini tower case

Here's some more build pics, this time with the Dynamo Mini installed. You can see from the photos a clear sense of scale next to a 240W power brick, and shows how long the cables are in the case, and the height limitations (which will be fixed in the next version of the case design)...

Project MT4 - 3D printed mini tower case

A fully internal PSU is possible if you go with something like a MeanWell EPP-200 which is small enough to fit completely under the card. It just requires more of a DIY approach to wiring.

Project MT4 - 3D printed mini tower case

I'm building another custom small form factor case, this time it's 4.2 liter case that can fit a short GPU. Unlike most custom cases shown here, this one isn't made of metal. Most of the frame and exterior structure is 3D printed. Since I don't have a printer of my own, I had to choose third...

    PROJECT ONE2 (12V Distribution board)

Hey TheHack, nice to see your project over here. Prototypes look good. Are the connectors and screw terminals the only components that aren't soldered on in that picture? You could possibly sell some as a DIY kit if it can save you some costs.

Project Thin-X, a custom mini PC case with discrete GPU build

This build uses a case I designed and made myself. For now, it's called Project Thin-X, for Thin Mini-ITX with eXpansion card support. Imgur album: https://imgur.com/a/Q0ABQiu The construction is 3D printed (SLS) frame parts with acrylic panels. It's production ready and could fit both...

PROJECT VERTICAL: Small footprint - Huge airflow - Touchdisplay - 19.9 L mATX

This case has two things going for it. 1. mATX support which is under-represented for smaller cases IMO. Also, its vertical orientation. Just eyeballing it here but it looks shorter than the Phanteks Shift (which to me is good) at the expense of a larger footprint. With that said, I also think...

GHOST S1 - When both size & performance matters

The large top hat would definitely be a good opportunity to use in conjunction with a hybrid cooled graphics card. The radiator for their AIO coolers tend to be on the slimmer side, and they should be able to mount to the top. Or just with any AIO be it CPU or GPU.

    Mini LP - A general-purpose case for low-profile cards

Thanks. I am building this case since I wanted something that is made more for LP cards and therefore less empty space, and with a different style. Also, I cannot currently afford the S4 Mini case. If I were to produce this case to sell, it should have to be noticeably cheaper than the S4 Mini...

    Mini LP - A general-purpose case for low-profile cards

Hello members of [H], I'm currently doing a build with a custom case that houses low-profile cards. Unlike many other SFF cases on here, I'm not on a mission to squeeze the most kick-ass hardware in a particular space or layout, but rather in focusing on low-profile cards and low power...

Anyone research SFF cases for APU (NO GPU)?

I like the look of the In Win Chopin. It has the layout of its older BQ line of SFF cases but with the styling of the more enthusiast focused cases. It comes with its own 150W power supply too so it should be able to handle the higher end 95W APUs that AMD is bound to have.

    CustomMOD Mini 3.24L

It really looks pro now! Nice little case.

Palit releases Silent 0dB 1050 Ti

These cards will benefit most in cases where there is convection for top vents easily. I think a case like the Hutzy XS would be ideal (but don't take my word on if the tall heatsink actually fits in that case), in particular as the fins of the heatsink run vertically, easily allowing the hot...

    CustomMOD Mini 3.24L

Following this also on SFF Forum, and looks interesting. Pretty much a Hutzy XS, just even smaller due to the different PSU support. EDIT: Saw your post there saying it will be laser cut. The hexagons look very close to each other, so hoping that the metal in between won't become warped and weak.
