Noob here - please help: Asus Turbo or Strix in DanA4 v2?

Dan A4 v1 owner here. I have a 1080 strix in it and in idle it is silent. Also, while gaming, the NH-L9i CPU fan gets way louder (but still not annoying). So I'd recommend the strix, however I have no experience with the turbo.

Is the SG08 the upgrade to the SG13

Hi, it is basically the other way around. The SG13 is newer than the SG08 and includes stuff like easier watercoolability. There are two versions though, one with a front vent that has good ventilation and one with a metal front plate that looks nice, however l I wouldn't recommend that version...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

There is a GPU compatibility list and IIRC it was attempted to start some spreadsheets for compatibility. For the SFX psu, the included stock cables work ok, exact lenghts needed for custom cable vary with GPU size and motherboard layout. Cable ties seem to work fine, but I'd maybe try using...

TLDR If anyone plans to go with Cryorig C7 with the A4, don't do it! Buy Noctua L9i and be happy! Today I swapped my C7 for the L9i and it really is night and day difference. At first I thought my system would not even POST, it is that silent. In idle you have to press your ear against the case...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Guys, just wanted to say my C7 developed a faint clicking/tapping noise in low RPM and the fan visually seems to spin unevenly. I think it may be damaged. It is too loud with the sidepanel for my liking too, I guess I'll try out a L9i and see if it works any better.

In your calculation you used 12 V alternating and not direct current. Thats a difference. Since almost no one ever had problems with this riser it should fully comply with the spec.

Unfortunately I'm not home right now, therefore I will post a picture on the weekend. The estimated clearance is 5 - 10mm.

From this thread it looks like there is demand for at least 1-2K more cases. Dan, how mamy cases will you order for the next batch? By the way, thank you for my case, got it on Saturday, it's so awesome :D will participate in the HoF contest as soon as I put some LEDs in there! Asus GTX 1080...

Nothing beats the reliability of the 3M riser, and I'm grateful that it is the riser included in the A4. However it is quite expensive, so if you could lower the case price tag for future batches by using an alternative riser that works just as great as the 3M, the target group of this case can...

There is an order. Dan will first ship all EU countries, the countries with most backers first. Inside a country it is first come first serve principle. After that the same will happen with the non-EU countries.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Delidding improves the thermal flow from the CPU to the heatsink, nothing else. It only conveys significant temperature improvements if the cooler can handle the heat. Likely the C7 or L9i capabilities will be the bottleneck here. That said, temperature will drop by a few degrees anyways because...
