Not surprised, since AMD is managing to market their products seemingly better well actually having a good product. In the meantime, as good as Intel is, they are having real issues which will probably effect their long term stock prices and their bottom line.
And also another user claiming Microsoft apologist but, this is exactly why I know it is no longer an actual discussion. Windows is going nowhere, at least as long as the desktop OS is going to be around. And Windows 10 is no longer freely supported after October of 2025 so, you will have to...
Yeah but, whining and crying coming from full grown adults males helps nothing. Instead, it is best to either work around the limits or find another tool that will do the job better. Otherwise, it is just repeating the same old shit, ad homium from 1994, 2004 and so on.
Na, there is actually complaining and then there is letting things go and living life, since computers are just a tool and not the end all, be all of exsistance.
Listen and read what he posted in your response, things are not always as cut and dry as you want them to be. The good thing is, who cares, it is 2024, not 1994, we have what we have and it works.
It is an operating system that allows the user to use their computer but, beyond that, it is 2024 and no one cares any longer. That and the fact that Windows 11 market share is probably not shrinking but 10's market share is increasing due to enterprise usage. However, 11 will be eventually used...
Perhaps you are right, perhaps not. I personally have not yet seen edge force it's way back to a pdf viewer mode. However, I work in a plant with a corporate network so that is probably why.
We use Teams, on drive and Office 365 and it mostly just works. At home, my Win11 computer is working well.
I just bought this monitor a week ago for $1070 and so far, I love it. I do notice the lower PPI somewhat but, when I ran Doom 2016 on it, I was literally blown away, because the 800r curve makes all the difference in the world. Perhaps if I had bought the LG Flex over the LG C2 42 inch, I would...
Combined with every other what monthly subscription? Oh, and calling it a luxury means what exactly? After all, with what they provide, I can actually do things, be active with people, enjoy playing games and stimulate my mind, if I want. All the other subs would mostly have me vegetating and...
$17 a month is incredibly inexpensive, especially when you consider the fact that you get EA Play as well, as well as being able to play on your PC and XBox. Considering it is the only subscription I have, I am good with it.
Ah shit, and I was enjoying the fact that my XBox Game Pass Ultimate and XBox Series X was good to go. If she manages to single handedly kill the XBox, I will be pissed.
Considering that the Gamepass Ultimate is only$17 a month, which is the same or cheaper than most streaming services, I think the pricing is just fine. Being able to play all those games on the Series S, without having to buy the game, it is big boon for users.
As for the Series S being weaker...
You could be right but, I am looking at it more towards Nvidia just looking to make the money, not caring about the user. (That is fine, I just do not see Nvidia not trying to push the envelope on prices.)
Make sure you are logged into your Microsoft account and use the troubleshoot selection. Through that process, it should get your Windows activated again. I know it did not work for me immediately, when I updated my bios on my Asus X570 board last October. However, eventually, it worked.
Yeah, I should have started with the LG Flex 42 but it was more than I wanted to spend. I also purchased the LG 45 Ultragear at $1070 3 days ago and that made it worth it.
That would mean all the 21:9 monitors are not correct but, close enough. However, the PPI of the LG monitor is something you will not notice, unless you are sitting on top of it. I sit back from it and at first, I was concerned I would not like the text sharpness but, I actually do not notice. I...
If I am understanding correctly, the LG Flex is simply a flexible version of the LG 45 Ultragear, which has a permanent 800R curve. (It is what I have.) If the C2 were curved, I would have kept it but, for me, a flat 42 inch unit was too large, overall, since I am 5ft 7 inches tall and...
The thing is, it is not stretched at all, it is a proper 21:9 resolution. Also, it actually looks fantastic on the desktop and in games. You just have to make sure not to sit on top of it. 😊
If the 42 inch had a 1000R or more curve, I would have kept it. However, it appears that the LG 45 inch Ultrawide OLED monitor is better suited for my needs.
Some snap versions of programs are just as fast as their apt and flatpak versions. However, many snap version programs are not even close, such as Steam.
The only subscription I have is XBox Game pass Ultimate, that is it. I also live minimalist and in regards to a printer, I have an HP Laser printer that has worked for years and with the original toner cartridge.
$2500 is not a hobby price whatsoever, that is a price for a professional level card that makes you money. The reality is, Nv has decided to take their pro pricing and slap on a gamer nameplate.
I know this much, I was upgrading for almost 30 years straight but, with prices being what they are and performance not all that much better than previous years, I no longer bother, at all. I have a 6800XT and nothing out there would make me enjoy using my computer more at all but, perhaps in...
