I'm sure it'll be the usual Assassin's Creed romp, but the setting feels years too late. Everybody and their mom has already made a game set in medieval Japan. A good chunk of them follow the AC playbook, too.

In all honesty, I haven't needed money minus that one gun. I bought a piece of shoulder armor super early that boosts 2 stats for 500 caps, but those are the only things I've really needed to buy. I guess there was one vendor selling power armor frames for like 5K, but I already have 7 of those...

I totally missed out on that one, but (luckily) bought one with the same properties in the Nuka market. It cost pretty much everything I had, but that has to be in contention for the best gun in the game. Even just the normal handmade = elite. With stacking damage? Fuggedaboutit.

Sticking with Fallout 4. The DLC stuff I never played before has expanded the game in a massive way. Nuka World alone is huge. I'm having fun building my compound, too. I never messed with it much originally, but I got the bug when playing 76 a few years ago.

So what kind of game is this exactly? It looks like Diablo and Titan Quest, but people are talking about gathering supplies and building stuff? Am game for a vampire-themed Diablo clone, but I don't want another game that feels like work.

I don't think that has been implemented yet. It's in the patch notes for 1.05. Ducking is definitely the better option for reaction (especially if you have a big WS launcher), but stepping and walking would often beat grabs just by default in T7. I like grabs being a hard counter to side to side...
